Actually, I'd like to just kill Cephrir.

Both pretty bad picks for this hypothetical role imo

~Spiffy
I could kinda see the logic in picking the closest-to-confirmed confirmed town player (Wheme) as a check on a player you suspect (Skybird), but that doesn't line up with the explanation he just gave

you're right though, we should just kill this
I agree with the logic of why it was a bad choice, but not the end resolution you came to.

It makes no sense to kill this. We have to hunt elsewhere no matter what. If Galron is scum, their ability is to steal money. I'm not too concerned about that, as an ability.

I think it's worth using this time to hunt elsewhere and play the odds about parity cop instead of just killing them.

Galron, why did you think Skybird was a possible kill?

Starting with I thought she was kind of townie. It was essentially a crapshoot.
okay, but like, skybird was widely SR, why not someone like Luke or Pav?

Oh and the robbed player to boot, both at the same time. That's too much of a coincidence to let live.

I'd say in general the odds of Galron choosing to peek at exactly both a player that was killed and a player that was robbed are really low and so I don't think it's still really likely that his claim is true or that he's town

however due to my role I will track him again tonight so if I live to D3 I can confirm it tomorrow, therefore I'm not sure if I'm fully opposed to letting him live today, but I want to think about it. @Galron, can you use this ability every night?
I can upgrade to rolecop if I have enough gold, and I can't use the comparing ability then.
Rolecop is not a stronger role than parity cop

I mean, shrug. I don't believe the claim but I've seen worse claims be true.

It's mechanically correct and correct from a game theory perspective to leave them and hunt elsewhere here but I'm honestly not up for trying to argue that with this town. I've already talked too much for my liking.

wait also, Galron claimed to be robbed himself, so he shouldn't have enough gold to upgrade to Rolecop yet. I would expect to see him do another parity cop check tonight if he were town with no money, the fact that he tried to imply that he can't due to potentially upgrading his role is just a lie.

OTH has been a target of suspicion and picking up votes and yet they still hadn't voted Galron (or anybody at all) through most of D2, that's a bad look
:P :P :P
gammas kinda right, i didnt rlly wanna vote galron when me and gamma were at a disagreey stage
but also when i said that i could see galron being scum i wasn't hella confident in it.
Spoiler:
i wasnt confident because (, ) made me feel bad for him : - (

I’m feeling like the points against Galron aren’t enough to condemn him when his claim could do some good imo
Dunnstral meanwhile has felt consistently scummy even after his PR dropped

Also, Galron being a parity cop would be pretty funny. If it weren't so sad.

I posted a full set of reads mid-D1 in private chat and my feelings on Dunn then were that he felt scummy but the post restriction was potentially also pissing me off
Now that the PR isn’t active I still don’t like what Dunn is posting so I’m willing to actually act on that
