What reason do you have to believe he's lying? I was under the impression he only lies about his role when he clearly has something to gain from it.

Well, for a start;

Scum tend not to tell the truth about their roles - it'd be a bit of a giveaway if they did... and I think he's scum. What reason do you have for believing he's telling the truth? His blatant honest streak? By lying about his role here he has the possibility of living for another day, and spending that entire day being just as useful as he has been today [Think; Viagra at a funeral kinda useful].

Well it wasn't as much WIFOM, as simply stating the facts.
Several people have already said they want to lynch me ahead of both our candidates, so I figure I'm a prime candidate come the next day, so I was just being self-aware about the fact that jumping off ABR for the second time wasn't gonna help me.

The Leader of The Turks and the Disaster from the Skies are almost guaranteed to have a place in this, somewhere, and given their characters they would slip in to a scum role like hands in gloves. Fair enough though, for people that thought I was randomly guessing scum roles there that could have looked bad.

I'll relieve their doubts by saying that yesterday I breached the Cave for the [guessing] 17th time since first playing the game and should be letting loose omnislash on the silvery haired girl sometime tomorrow afternoon. I tend to pick it up a few times a year and bugger about with it whenever I get the chance .

As for why I didn't hammer ABR, despite his befuddling play, his claim of a tracker, a particularly weak power role, makes me think he's not quite scum. It may be basic, but I've gotta stick to them on this one :/

They aren't both at L-1, only ABR is (they can't be since we are 22 and cavebear hasn't lifted his vote from TM).
Also, this has been said already, but Mafia Tracker is not an uncommon role, so I don't know why a tracker claim makes you think he's not scum.
Also, I still don't see how his flavor claim makes any sense. The only one that seemed to think it was logical was Zakeri, if it was referring to an Airplane.

Yeah, it's possible to mix up the roles, but it is now D2 and this game has been going on for a while now. I would have thought he would at least check his role PM one last time, especially to provide accurate flavor info for the theme.

Uh...tracker is an info role. Not a cop, but hardly a weak role. Name 1 common non-cop role that's much stronger then a tracker.

And it still dosn't explain, you know, why he survived the vig kill.
