Point Salad is a fast and fun card drafting game for the whole family. There are over 100 ways to score points. Players may use a variety of strategies and every game of Point Salad is unique!

rules

The goal of Point Salad is to earn the most points. Each turn, you may either take 2

Veggie

cards from the 6 on offer, or 1

Recipe

card from the 3 on offer. At the end of the game, each Recipe card is worth points based on the Veggies you have that fulfill them.

As an example, a Recipe card may state "

For every 3 , gain 8 points

." If you end the game with that Recipe as well as 6 cards, you gain 16 points.

Each Recipe is counted separately with the same Veggies. In other words, each Veggie card can be scored for EVERY relevant Recipe you have, they're not "used up" during scoring.

One other potentially confusing fact in a forum format: Recipes have Veggies on the back of the card. This leads into the final 2 rules:
- When you take Veggies, they are replaced on the game board by flipping over Recipes, which then get replaced with new Recipes.
- Once per turn, you may flip one of your Recipes over, converting it into a Veggie. This is rarely a good move but is helpful to do occasionally to maximize points.

We can play with anywhere from 2-6 players. This game will update 1-2 times daily M-F, with an occasional weekend update. That means you'll take 1-2 turns per week, and ideally won't take more than 24 hours (weekends counting as 0 hours) to take your turn. If you take more than 36 hours to take a turn, I'll randomize it (not as bad as it sounds since most random actions still get you points, but not ideal). If I've randomized 3 of your turns, I'll look for a replacement.
