I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”

Also, what is Not_Mafia doing? This is some of the worst play I’ve ever seen.
I will SEARCH for games with you and N_M to help you policy him.
I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.

It's between cheery/N_M/RH9

But it's way too late to change to any of them.

Overall the game was slightly closer this time, but still getting the overall feeling that it's too hard for the Botcher atm.

I might try running a non-botcher version where it's more like you're playing against the house rather than each other if there's interest for that.

Would love feedback for any aspect of the game if people have it. Otherwise, just wanted to say thanks for playing!

i would enjoy a game where we all compete against each other somehow. or co-operate. though i'm not sure how would a game be designed around that.

Is this an existing game or one of your own division?

The variant I was thinking would be players vs mod where I would get access to some of the botcher mechanics and I'd be trying to sabotage the effort to get a certain number of chains correct. Not sure if it'd have similar clunkiness issues to the current version though.

It's based on a video game I've been working on the last little while. I'd plug it for playtesting but I'm not sure if that's against site rules lol.

I don't think the shrinking botch works in the forum based environment, it's too easy to just then zoom in.

Hiding a quarter of the image also doesn't really do much, after learning it was an option in game one, I know I started drawing symmetric images as an ordinary worker for game two to combat the possibility. Which I think is just the timer for a long form game.
Everything happens for a reason, except maybe football.

Yeah, you're definitely right. I think I'll have to start getting more creative with botching mechanics no matter what if I want to run this again. Drawing to combat against a specific botcher mechanic was something that occurred to me as a possibility, but I hadn't come up with a good solution against that besides just coming up with new botcher mechanics every game, which seems kind of hard with the player as botcher variant.

I think the 1/4 cover up is still pretty good despite people drawing around it. If people change the drawing to counteract the botch then it would change the meaning of the drawing, especially if it's a singular phrase instead of plural. For example, I added an extra parrot which changed it to parrots, then to angry birds.

The shrinking one feels like it'd work better in a couch co-op setting.

I think a good botching mechanic would be to draw over the original drawing (somehow limiting how much to draw), or to mirror the drawing horizontally/vertically.

Congrats on the botch RH9, I was really doubting at the end there. I only really cases you cause I wanted to see what a lot of the other people would say.

Also please add a prod timer too. I feel like it can be difficult when there aren't a lot of people talking.

Also, are Botchers allowed to self-botch? Cause that'd seem like a risky but very good strategy. Since people getting botched could kinda confirm them as a worker.

They can.
(I chose not to because I thought that my drawing and captioning was enough. In retrospect, I could have self-botched for WIFOM.)
