I was 100% sure that CC was either a SK, or part of another mafia group. As convinced as I was that tubby was the last remaining townie. hasdagas - I thought you may be CC's partner. I thought that CC had some one-shot lynch immunity that you used to claim governor.

YAY! Wrong on all counts.

I thought Nat's gambit of guessing that another player was scum, claiming an investigation result and actually getting right was absolutely brilliant; that and the fact that he has a horseshoe up the keister.

His gambit gave me tons of reasons to never bus him, and to support him every inch of the way.

We also got lucky recruiting Nat early in the game in the first place.

farside, tell me though. What was it you saw in DoomCow's claim that set you off? I assumed from my own role PM that the rolenames ("mayor's wife") are more flavorful than simply the standard name. But considering your own role, that couldn't have been what you saw.

Seriously page 1 there was one role that was an open role and it said you are batman as the name on it. I thought when he claimed JOAT he was lying through his teeth because of the open role on page one.

If it were a REAL PR, then after breaking it he should have been killed instantaneously. He didn't get killed, ergo the PR was a dupe.

The funny thing is, even as scum this game, I still stand by the big things I did.

1.) Tubby was rolefishing and in a bad way. I happened to know because he's was my partner, but hey.

2.) Considering I was a "Special Agent" and our example was "Goddamn Batman" and CC claimed "Squashed Banana" I thought it was bs.

3.) Zaz couldn't have been scummier with Nat's magnificent fake Cop claim. Seriously, kudos for the stones of steel.

I was frantically F5'ing this one and I was really sad when I died.

When I learned I was a traitor, the first thing I thought was "Awesome. So they don't even know I exist." So I decided to try out a number of gambits.

The first was, obv, my PR(s). I can honestly say that I was not planning to changing PRs up, but I needed to start speaking and plant my ideas into people's heads. So I did.

The second was my cop claim. And, btw, I chose my first target(ZazieR) by looking at the first vote count. If you look, it said ZazieR(3)--Natirasha, Crazy, DGB. I took a guess and got it right. From there, I simply had to follow farside. That votecount also gave me the way I voted for my two following topics.

I thought I was screwed after my hammer of CC09(the first time). I'm glad I didn't post any "I win" quip. The whole second day, the reason I didn't lynch CC09 for a while was that I was trying to get hascow to hammer, since that would make him less likely to activate his governor ability. Because, unlike DGB, I read the flavor for the no lynch and knew there was a governor as night happened.

In short, I'm glad. I can honestly say this game is one of my favorite I've been in. I should try gambits more often.

Although I can see the point of neither confirming nor denying the existence (and not calling Nat out would maybe have denied the PR's validity), why not just assume that Nat is faking a morse PR instead of a period/question mark only PR?

Ehehe. Yes, yes I did.
You tripped on yourself at first, but once tubgate was sorted out and everyone called you newbTown, you faded into the background. That was good in itself, and you didn't disturb the advantage of people completely overlooking you throughout. And that's how you win as scum; gj.

Granted, improvement may be hard to measure since the last time you were scum, you had a Doc claim weighing you down so nobody was going to ignore you completely. But still.

What you need now is confidence so you can go on the offense. And/or to be scum more often~

I think you would've had more luck if you defended yourself a bit better instead of just defending your claim. It seemed as though you were relying on the absurdity of your claim instead of defending against the accusations.
