Even if DEATH can stunt off-stage, it's unclear that it's a good idea. Who would we want DEATH to stunt in for, taking into account that about half of off-stage could reasonably be the lynch favorite?

Also, I'm vaguely worried about this being too easy, but there doesn't seem to be an argument for anything other than the obvious vote.

As far as I know, a person can only lose their job by firing or DEATH. I realize I am DEATH, but I'm uncertain if I actually have the power over gainful employment that I do over life. Anyhow, I'll check.

I understand that it's not ideal Godwin, but it is very possibly the only avenue of communication we potentially have with those on the other side.

Mr. Green, we can always communicate with the other side just by speaking. They can hear what we have to say no matter what, since they've got that one way mirror over there.

Godwin points at what appears to be a mirror on the fourth wall of the bar. Surprisingly, neither the fourth wall nor the mirror breaks.

If we are to switch out DEATH, it's because we are interested in what the other side has to say to us, and it's unclear the benefits outweigh the risks.

Ok, the Keeper of the Gate answered my questions. He replied to my question about trading places with one of those in the Great Beyond by simply reading me my job description.

When I further inquired if that would affect anyone's employment, he said no.

Does anyone remember whether two of these delicious looking items would be poisoned?

Or was one poisoned, one only mildly spoiled, and one absolutely scrumptious?

Both possibilities have been laid out, but which is the case here?

DEATH carves his name into table at which the group sits. Had he the facial muscles to do so, he'd smile with a great satisfaction thinking about all of the confused reactions of future patrons when they realized that "DEATH was here".

I'm pretty certain it is a decision similar to that god-awful church as well. That's why we can pretty much only have the tequilla. At worst it'll leave us feeling only o-kay and we'll cut our losses.

On the other hand, if this greasy-faced weirdo over here is lying to us, it should be abundantly clear by the outcome of the tequilla.

Mr Green pulls out a seat with a grimace. He produces a handkerchief from his pocket and dusts off as much dirt and grime as he can before easing himself down.

From recollection, I believe both DEATH (VP) and Mr Zappa (Orbots) have it correct. Our choice is either good, bad or neutral. I see no reason to even entertain any drink outside the tequila at the risk of making a similar mistake like our companions made in the church.

I am back from my trip.

It occurred to me when I was traveling that Talilan could potentially use his ability to fire the CKD as a means of informing us that a lynch had occurred off-screen.

Psssst guys, I've managed to sneak a copy of the script on stage, because I am not sure I know my text by heart. The outline for Scene 5 says indeed that our choice is [good/neutral/bad]. But don't tell anyone, they'll fire me if they know I don't know my role.

Well then, this seems straightforward. And unlike last time where I thought the information was quite obvious, hopefully we'll actually go with the obvious choice this time.

Until then, is there anything important we should do to pass the time? Or can we simply sit down and play cards?

Imagine if he trapped five or six good players in a room together and forced them to kill one! What if he's been doing that constantly and has finally decided to sacrifice himself?

Dweezil, who had fallen into a light doze on his barstool, is startled awake by Garrett's sudden hysterics. His elbow knocks the plate over, scattering chicken bones everywhere.

Mr Green looks uncomfortable as Kelly loses control beside him before collapsing into him and crying on his shoulder. He awkwardly starts to pat her on the back trying to soothe her the best he can.

WHAT IS REALLY INTERESTING IS THAT WE STILL HAVE NOT HEARD THE VOICE OF GOD TELLING US THE LATEST IN UNEMPLOYMENT NEWS. I HAVE A FEELING SOME OF THOSE IN POWERFUL POSITIONS ARE ON THE SAME SIDE AND HESITANT TO GIVE UP THEIR SEATS.

Could people either agree or point out flaws in my "Talilan fires CKD to signal that they've just lynched somebody" plan? I tend to believe Talilan will ignore everything I say, so I think having others comment on that is useful.

Also, Valentine, how is your review of past events coming along?

I AGREE THAT FIRING NEEDS TO COME DOWN LIKE DONALD TRUMP ON A COCAINE BENDER. NOT SURE WHAT THE HOLD UP IS AT ALL.

what's going on over there. It could be that there's been discussions on what's gone on and everybody's satisfied. Wouldn't make sense to fire like you said then, unless the guy just gets appointed again or somethin. Only other thing I see we could do is just wait right up till when we're supposed to board the boat and hope they've got it all figured out by then.

DEATH, I'm not saying that CKD needs to be fired immediately, but rather that we should use his (hopefully inevitable) firing as a signal to let us know when to proceed. Basically, while I like bars and ladies nights, I'm hoping to use this to speed up our stay here a little bit if those not present make a decision before our stay would naturally end. If not, we wait for them to make a decision, and in the worst case we wait the entire two weeks and hit on girls in the bar or something.
