New posts error

My account seems to register my own posts as new posts. Is there a solution to this?

I have the same problem, since about a month ago. Maybe more.

Does it really matter?

Having a different problem, where new post flags are being maintained even after repeated viewing. It's hit or miss, maybe 10-20% of posts are doing this.

EDIT: it's happening in this thread for instance

Same here. My posts are constantly marked as new... then sometimes I'll log in, and there are NO new posts on the board anywhere, which I know can't be true.

This has been happening to me for months. I guess it wasn't enough of a hindrance to my forum experience for me to consider reporting it until there was already a thread about it.

This happens to Troll when Troll has left Troll's browser open (or uses the save and quit option; Troll uses Firefox) for a sufficient length of time. Starting a completely new session has always fixed the issue for Troll. Troll just assumed it was something to do with the cookies or information storage on the browser end or some such thing but Troll no knows much about such details.

I have this issue along with the issue of sometimes being logged out (I use the auto-log in feature, but I sometimes get logged out while browsing the forum and need to log in again, which leads to the NO new posts bit)
