Alpha, what was that role hint about? Were you requesting doc protection? I mean, I had figured Sting from The Police was going to be a cop, despite what I said about the hint, especially after mepmuff's role was role cop, but saying "Sting, doc" was asking for all kinds of hurt.

Also, if I, as scum, was the only person who even noticed the hint (was I? No one else said anything), that's a prime example of why hints like that are bad ideas. Right up until I was able to "catch you in a lie," you were my primary target for Night 2 kill. I ended up talking about whether I'd rather go after someone else and hope the vig took care of you, but I'm glad my partners convinced me otherwise.

With three deaths a night, I was surprised that we didn't end up with one short after night 2. Especially since the Vig took it upon himself to participate like a SK... MGIA, I don't think it was a bad setup, just some incredible luck on our side.

Especially since I was investigated

Ah, it's good to know that after a six-month hiatus, my scum-sense is still completely backwards. I was SO SURE about mepmuff. Also, I had Quag pegged as a cop. Why else was he so gung-ho about Talitha? Bah, I should've gone with the safe play and killed Astro.

To be honest, that was a huge frikkin' mistake...I didn't mean to say doc, in fact I meant to say cop...I haven't actually played in a game with a role cop and an alignment cop...especially a small game like this one...so I just...you know...

That's inherently accepting that a vig killing night one would unbalance the game.

go some way towards countering the rogue newbie factor. And in a mini game, it doesn't take much to swing the game in favour of one side or the other, unless you have counter measures.
