I actually just now outlined the setup for my next game.
Whedonesque

The roles are taken from Joss Whedon's shows, Including Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dr. Horrible and Dollhouse.

Gonna try to balance this game, but I can't help but do alittle experiments when it comes to roles. It's just how I roll.

Will prolly be a few months until i'm up for modding again, I reckon, but if you're a Whedon fan, or know/like any of the aforementioned shows, or you just want another zany game, feel free to Pre-In

heheheh.

yeah, I guess I should have sticked with my mordys initial case, i dont remember who convinced me of him being town. Psycho and milkshake did a good job in looking townies, tbh.

This was a god game, the movie choices were awesome and the way people died, revived and disappeared was amazing. I appreciate the effort you put in this game and consider me pre-in in all the games you run from this on. I really think you should stay away from no reveal though.

Good game all.

Yeah, no-reveal was kinda necessary for this setup, but having a completely ignorant town isn't always fun for neither town nor me, so I think I'll abstain from it in future games.

I thought about the possibility of maybe doing his same exact setup, just as a smalltown game. Just making scum random amongst the roles.
Would be fun, but I need to satisfy my creative needs by making new setups -.-

Edit: this is why i never make townlists when i play mafia :p

*feels the urge to point out that i haven't checked my watched topics in 24 hours, and that it's mere coincidence that I replied this fast* :P

Oh, I was extremely impressed by this though.
I'm been scum many, many times, and been part of a large number of scum teams. I know that no scum in their right mind would bulldoze into the game on what, page 1? the way Psycho did. It's a totally townie action. He doesn't care if he sounds like he's rolefishing or some such on his first or second post. I don't think he's experienced enough to fake it; in fact, I don't believe anyone is.

Now I don't expect anyone but me to give credence to this sort of experience-based "logic."

I, however, swear by it.
Forget the norm. That type of experience-based "logic" should get alot of credence... look:
I caught two scums, cateraction and MordyS, and maybe DoS, we'll see about him. I'm not sure yet whether I want to lynch them or adopt them.
2 for 2.5! This is the kind of thing mafiascum needs more of.

Less accusations of "scum logic," more real reasons someone is a member of the mafia. :)

I also like how DrippingGoofball insulted me by indirectly calling me inexperienced.
Those questions were strategically placed questions meant solely for the purpose of making myself seem town.
