Also my vote on him is for his lack of actual constructive content in the majority of his posts. I will go back and quote them in a row to point this out, but he's posting mostly fluff, diversive things, and pointless accusations/comments which lead no where really.Showyou done goofed.

We have been pushing our top suspect (Jason) as well as questioning others that include you. Were as your contributions so far have been sheeping a big wagon, unvoting and coming out with an attitude. I'm not going to apologise for finding you scummy which is what only this reaction seems to want. For some reason you are treating our accusations as personal. Last I checked this was just a game.
It's supposed to be fun. Take a breath, a break and try again.

I guess my point more is, getting info from someone's alignment goes without saying. It's really just a filler statement meant to sound like you're doing something. If I was to day kill Jason right now, what info would his flip really give us? We're still in the early goings and to see you using that statement as an argument so early doesn't really work for me.
Lets play connect the dots. Be specific. Who do you think we'd have more info on after Jason's flip apart from us? (AKA Sottyrulez)

The whole 'lets lynch somebody because we learn from their flip!' is nonsense. Either you want to lynch them because you think they're scum, or you dont want to because you think they are town. This line of thinking is false and silly Diddin.Where Confidence and Charisma Collide- diddin

Mainly, Jason has commented, even Voted, for Tragedy, but Tragedy has said little to nothing about Jason. Keep in mind I am suspicious of both of them. Jason being scum would be a good point in favor of Tragedy being town, so if he flips scum, it will get rid of two suspects with one lynch.sottyrulez wrote:

Jason has also been a little too on the fence with Darla for my taste. He's keeping her under suspicion, but not voting. Tragedy has expressed little to no suspicion of anybody whatsoever, so if I he is scum, it tells less about whom he has commented so little on. I find that scum tend to keep their buddies as their number 2 or 3 susects.ShowTown 8/4

You can find that kind of connection with so many people (an easy connection, as mentioned earlier, is Hiraki and DBE, and they are both generally higher on suspect lists, so why not lynch one of them?). And even then it's still a bit too WIFOMy. I don't agree with using that as reasoning for a lynch either.diddin wrote:

Fonzy, I never like giving anyone the pass for being new. I don't like others when they defend someone with the Newbie card also (not saying your scummy) I just feel that the newbie card gets played far too much in mafia and it often lets people coast without actually answering for their actions as it all gets put down to 'being new'The Fonz wrote:

As for fence sitting on Darla, I can only have one vote at a time, but have more than one suspect.. the same could be said for anyone who is voting one person but also suspects another... we only get one vote and one lynch, if we had more my other vote would go on Darlabut I am afraid I can only vote one person at a time.
Right now, this game makes me feel like a a Ford urinating on a Chevrolet..

I looked back and I must have missed your first post at the start of page 1 claiming to be a hydra, and aside from something very vague Beavers said in a large wall post I didn't see any other referece to the hydra-ness. I apologize for missing it.
Though I have never played in a game with a Hydra/s would it be illogical of me to assume that one of the hydras would be town and one to be scum?
If that were the case I would (by play so far) lean towards Beavers being more town-y.
and yes Guderian, I'll go collect quotes now.Showyou done goofed.

I detest the newbie card with every fibre of my being. But for the fifteenth time, I'm not defending her because she's new. I'm defending her because SHE'S NOT ACTUALLY SCUMMY.jasonT1981 wrote:

Fonz is right, DBE is not scummy and actually more likely town then most of the people that are voting her.
Players who are scummy are people like SA, Sens, NC and to a lesser extent Jason.
For why NC is scummy, same reason that Jason is scummyish. He is locked into the whole hydra debate while managing to ignore the rest of the game. Every single one of his non RVS posts relate to who the hydra is and his opinion on hydras.- ribwich

This is the second time someone had used this "we should vote this person because their flip tells us so much about everyone else" argument so far. I think it's such a poor argument to be using this early when we have so little information to work on, but now I'm not so sure about it being a scumtell. I really doubt two scum would both use that argument as excuses to vote for different people. I still think the specific way Hiraki used it was scummy though, so I'm going to keep my vote there for now, but I'm going to want to reread things to see if anything else sticks out."ROLEFISHING ROLEFISHING OMGOBVSCUMRAWR weeEEEEEEEEEOOOOOooooo" - Vi- Guderian

I think 'lynch for information' is generally scummy unless you're in the kind of gamestate where you can say 'OK if he flips town we lynch A and B, and if he flips scum we lynch C, and we win.'- LlamaFluff

Well, same applies to Tragedy. Both those wagons arent that pretty. You are right on lynching for pure information though, while some lynches will naturally be more useful in delevoping other reads then some, lynching ONLY for information, or even using it as an arguement, is a poor idea at best. The Fonz wrote:

If you're going to wait for a damn bait, then make start an accusation. As mentioned somehow earlier, blindly following people causes major mislynches and big scum tells.
I don't understand how anyone could mistake me unvoting for 'blindly following'. His explanation for his actions were plausible enough to warrant an unvote, but not enough to put my vote on boberz, which could be called blindly following. The whole business won't be forgotten and can be later referenced if any inconsistances are found, derp.
anyway, so far my reads are:
sens: town - I like his scum hunting, although initially I thought scum because of the vote-only posts, but I've reconsidered.
darla: scummish - A slight rumbling in my stomach says that post #217 was deflecting to scotty and #221 seemed overly defensive.

What I think we have here is a problem with genders. I am a woman. Women are bound to be more emotional over things and clearly that's been miscontrewed in my posts as taking this too seriously. I assure I ain't bovvered one bit, and any perceived irritation or hostility from me is, again, sarcasm. mmkay?

Okay. Walk of shame time.
BASICALLY, on a very thorough reread, (and I admit up to now I have not been paying super close attention to this game. Fail points on me,) I pretty much am sitting here wtfing at myself, and wondering what had me so confused, and I think it might have to do with me diving into too many games too soon after such a huge absence and getting them confused since I don't tend to have time to sit down and really devote to them until after 2am with my life being so hectic this last week. Not an excuse, I realize, and not asking to be excused.
BUT ANYWAYS. Ignore my absent minded shittery above.unvote Sotty(not scotty...ffs I can't even read NAMES right what is my problem)
and on top of that looking around on the read through I am finding it very hard to spot scum, but from what I've read I seem to get the most contradicting sort of play off Jason, SA, and Hiraki, but overwhelmingly I am thinking Hiraki.

Er... that's not how it works. For all intents and purposes, a hydra is treated as a single player. A hydra has as much chance of being scum as anyone else (assuming it's a random assignment). The only difference is that a hydra is actually two (maybe more?) real people sharing the account.DarlaBlueEyes wrote: Though I have never played in a game with a Hydra/s would it be illogical of me to assume that one of the hydras would be town and one to be scum?
