To be honest, the quiet town Nacho meta is killing my desire to vote him. In my modded game, he was scum but worked his ass off.

Meh...I don't know.

It is almost like Tragedy is going out of his way to dirty me in whatever way he can. Really, thats two things he has called me on to make me look scummy that have already been explained clearly and easily.

Consideration:

Should we push nacho guy with votes?

I mean, if he doesn't go out swingin' at the doorstep, that's either anti-town at best/mafia at worst or a sign that something is amiss right?

Basically...Get 12 votes on him and see what he does...Nobody hammers until he claims or says something.

Obviously under the stipulation that if you are town and you hammer before he is given a chance...Yer a dead man tomorrow so you better not hammer.

Then we watch like hawks for his ass on the thread...and he will show up... (AND I WILL SEE YOU MR. NACHO...JIDDY IS EVERYWHERE...LIKE A HAWK BABY....MWA HA HA HA HAAA)

Yes, because I'm announcing V/LA in all of them so I can catch up in this one.

You'd think that would be what you want me to do.

Ok, sorry I couldn't read up last night. Starting on Page 39. If I don't finish this tonight, I should be able to do it tomorrow night.

Llama, about the activity elsehwere before here, that game was in three player LYLO and I was up to date on everything. When I had short bursts of time to post, that game got priority. This is now my only game AND I've been putting aside time late at night instead of sleeping (lol?). But yeah, any posting here requires quite a bit of reading where in that game I could just read less than a page and throw up a post within 5 or 10 minutes. Of course that game got more posts. Also, you keep repeating "SA is scummy, SA is scummy". Can I have a quick bullet point summary of your case to see what, if any, of it is still relevant?

Nero's Wraith vote, while I don't agree with it, gives me town vibes on Nero. It seems like a genuine scum hunting vote.

Hmm. If Sens is telling the truth, [tvellalott, Benmage, Wraith, diddin, Tragedy, Steven Hacking, Sleepless Assassin, Nachomamma8, Lowell] includes some serious scumage. I think 3 or 4 is about right for a 24 player game (5 or 6 non town overall). That means almost half of that list could be scum. I'll be taking this into consideration when deciding on a vote for the rest of the game. Also, when we find out who the two scum on the wagon were, we'll have some confirmed townies which is always nice. Assuming Sens is telling the truth, that's definitely going to be helpful later on.

Steven, do you not realize that the majority of my posts have been catch up posts? You seem to have missed that when I removed my Tragedy vote, I hadn't seem the OMGUS threat thing. And the "walls" are just because I'm responding to about ten pages at a time. Still, I don't see how posting walls is scummy.

Sens vs Fonz looks like pointless bickering about whether or not an already lynched and flipped player was fakeclaiming.

Mari, I may have just missed it, but if that's the case, can you refresh me on why Lowell is scum? I get a town read from him and also had a town read on Beavers.

Ok, my eyes have had enough. Page 46 and beyond tomorrow.

For the off the wagon group (myself excluded, for obvious reasons):

Cons (former Tvell) : I really like the way Cons has picked up the slot, logical, productive and active, town.

Wraith : Ever since called out early for lack of content, has played well, continued town read.

Nachomamma : Never played with Nacho, but have read a few games he played in. I get the impression from those that he plays/is active in the games that hold his interest. The posts he's made putting forth effort seem good, town.

Lowell : Obvious disagreement with reads, but plays well, townish.

Sleepless Assassin : I don't care much for his posting style, feast-famine, gigantic walls etc. (P-edit: This is mostly a matter of personal preference. I understand the role of walls, but I generally find them difficult to read through, and therefore a possible means for scum to hide. This may be an extremely personal feeling though, as I am a recovering addict.) Of the information posted, nothing seemed noteworthy. Though his recent posting has gotten much better. Townerish.

Benmage : I had a slid town read on Ben from early on. I like his tone/attitude, I read it as very pro-town. His reacent posts, seem to be slipping a little, so we will have to see how he if/how his play changed. Townish, but warrants scrutiny, especially in the near future.

Diddin : I've had a slight town read on Diddin for a while. He's posts read like competent town, though not an star/leader, haven't seen anything explicitly scummy. Worth keeping an eye on.

Tragedy : Scummiest by far, happy with my vote, reasons in case you missed them: Inattentive (eg. 1299), irrelevant/flavor focused/rolefishy posts (1186, 403, 726), super over-defensive omgusishness (835 pre-bolded).

I think it's pretty obvious we should focus on the off-the-wagon pool. I was feeling pretty good about this, until one of my top suspects was replaced into competence, and lurky-inactives started working. To me, it feels like this game is stalling a bit, and I am also unsure if we have the activity to actually get anywhere near a lynch at this point. Votes on hiraki and Jason need to move asap. Mariyta you should probably move yours as well. I realize I have a lot of town or town leaning reads on a group that is likely to have more scum on it by far. My only conclusion until I find scum is the possibility of third parties and recruitment mechanics (perhaps lead by #1?).

For whoever wanted my case on Lowell:
Me wrote:#1017 doesn't sit right with me. First off, the "Let's go after one of us non-mist-voters. Even if the claim is bogus, it doesn't really matter b/c it's still plenty of worthy candidates" reeks. First, I don't see the motivation for Sens to lie at this point. We still have a massive pool of people to narrow down. Second, it's been shown that odds are statistically better to hit scum off the wagon than on. Then his attack on Steven is weak. Steven's question is actually quite valid.
But I forgot he replaced FuzzyBeavers. So that lowers him a bit on my scum list, as I thought FB was likely town.

I'm happy with either Tragedy or Nacho. Nacho claims to be "catching up" so I'll give him a bit of leeway for now.
UNVOTE: Lowell, VOTE: Tragedy

I do agree, Tragedy is bad. And trying to make me look bad with his ignoring posts to make me look bad with selective quoting. His whole reason for pushing at me is because I suspect him. I'm down for a Tragedy lynch. Its like paranoid scum trying to push anything at his accusor

Are single scum teams common these days? Usually in large games I'm in if there isn't a second scum team there's gonna be a 3rd party of sorts. I'm thinking 5-1 is likely ...a 6 man scum team has a lot of sway and would be quite powerful. (Though we are seeing a good amount of town prs .... oh wine )

Adding an SK actually improves the town's win chances though, so it would still likely be 6-1. If two scum group, 16-4-4 or possibly 14-5-5. After all, we've seen a lot of town power. More to the point, Sens specified 'roles with antitown win conditions' so that would include the SK.
