I want to try out newRyze. I've done my math here and I think newRyze is a BEAST.

At 40% CDR (easy with blue golem/Frozen Heart), you get 1.4 sec cooldown with Q.
And his passive is... you knock of 1 second in all cooldowns with a spellcast.
That's a .4 second cooldown on a spell that can deal 130 + (10% of your mana) + (.2 AP) spell. Now THAT is simply BEAST.

Plus there is also fact that mana items are secretly overpowered. (+99 armor, 20% CDR redux +500 Mana, 20% ASPD debuff on my frozen heart? YES PLEASE. RoA, Archangels. Maybe an effing Lichbane. So much potential here. >.>)

The bad part is, in the Failippines version of LoL, Ryze costs 9600 IP. .__. We're not even updated to the latest patch. T_T. (Still dun have Caitlyn, Karma, Renekton and Maokai boohoo.)

From what I've seen around the 1500 Elo mark, that's pretty much exactly what Ryze does now - stack mana, CDR and AP, then spamspamspam and just hope he lands his snare in teamfights.

Wow, that is terrible servering. Caitlyn is fun. The rest of them, not so much.

But yeah, NewRyze is a monster, especially since Goddess Tear is so cheap and easy to rush. His Q can harass a good third of a health bar in a side lane.

Also, I've managed to save up 6300 IP for Jarvan coming out tomorrow. He better not get nerfed into the ground within a week or two of release, like Irelia did.

Plus the IP pricing is hilariously bad. It's pretty obvious they're trying to milk as much money as they can on our side.
9600 IP for Ashe, ChoGath, Ryze, Sivir and some other pub stomping heroes.
No 450IP champs. Cheapest is 1350.

Thank GOD I bought all my champs on the NA server before I migrated on our server. (Still buying the new champs will be pretty tough. >.>)

9600 IP for Ashe? She's 450 on the US server (which I play on because I got fed up of the majority of my team on EU never speaking English)... I mean, she's a solid ranged AD carry, but she's nowhere near the best.

She's certainly the easiest, though.

Before season one, riots pricing strategy was four tiers of price, dictated by ease of play.

Post season one, the pricing strategy became "never ever have the two lower tiers ever again", and mostly just repeating 6300 - 6300 - 3150 - 6300 - 6300 - 3150.

Nope. 100ish IP on victory, +150 on First Win. It's basically the same old IP gain with some incredibly overpriced stuff.

We are a few patches behind though. How is the IP gain on the recent-ish patch? Is it better or worse?

Custom game IP farms have been nerfed hugely. 60IP a game, max.

That'd be Trundle at 4800. 6300 just makes more sense from a business standpoint. 9600 is just ridiculous though.

P-EDIT: I hate the new IP system. Trying to force the game to be shorter is not the way that it should be heading. I much prefer the game to go to the point that good play is more important than who farmed better early.

They're trying to sell more RP/Boosts. It makes sense from a business standpoint, but a lot of the community have an inflated sense of entitlement, and spend a lot of time bitching about it.

So yeah, bought Jarvan today. So far, I've only been jungling with him, and he's a beast. Went 8-6-9 with a feeder Blitz and a newbie Urgot, with their Warwick jungling as well. Managed to counter him for a red buff with the flag too. He's definitely not OP, but he's strong.

I think the at-release champion balance has been better recently. A little under or over average, but not at either extreme.

Right now I'm playing Jarvan, who I've been doing well with. Just got done with a game doing 5-0-6.
Pretty much I play anyone and everybody if they look cool.

A Jarvan Taric duo lane is guaranteed a kill once you hit 6 if your opponent/s aren't doing the smart thing and hugging like a bitch. Dazzle into Cataclysm, or Cataclysm and then stun them once they're in the arena, and then Taric uses his ult to give you both bonus physical damage, and his W for the armour debuff.

Actually, now that I think about it, a Taric/anything lane can get a cheap kill at 6.
