@SSBF: Exactly what part of "he claimed scum" do you not understand? AND he did so after being replaced, so it deserved a ban. Was our vote emotionally charged? yes, but you can't say that his actions weren't scummy. Even early in the game, he had our suspicions. And you say our initial vote on him came b4 he did anything scummy, but given that its EARLY, he was sticking out already.

As for calling out people who weren't voting Lelouch--again, he claimed scum. At that point I think a vote is necessary, and the VI card can no longer be played.

@danakillsu: How are the people outside of the wagon scummier then the ones outside of the wagon? The majority of my scum reads (Tragedy being the only exception) are on the wagon and I see no reason why we should not give the voters some deserved pressure.

The people not on the wagon were not voting for claimed and otherwise nearly confirmed scum. The only reasons anyone would have for intentionally not voting him are: 1) He was a troll. This would require that they know this AND that they think it outweighs his actual scumminess. 2) They knew he was not scum because they were. Since 2) makes a lot more sense, that's what I'm going with. Not saying scum weren't on the wagon, because they probably were.

1) did you know you were hammering when you hammered? If yes: why did you not wait for the replacements? If not: why did you feel the need of justifying your vote with these five lines of nothing?

The behavior by Lelouch made me think he was town VI, but the more and more he was talking I kept thinking more on the lines of scum VI. I am concerned however that he may have just claimed scum so he could screw our whole town over since we were at the verge of lynching him when he was replaced. However, I find it more likely that he is actually mafia and then played against his wincon as mafia by claiming since he had nothing to lose anymore. I think it's the best lead we are probably going to have towards scum on day 1, and I am going to place my vote as well.

SSBF(1): I quite agree with your analysis of Danakillsu, and I don't like the way he tried to divide people in "on the wagon" and "not on the wagon"... scum was evidently both on and off the wagon. Assuming otherwise is puerile or scummy. And the timing and poor justification of Dana's vote is a perfect example of someone ON the wagon who could easily be scum.

SSBF(2): I disagree with your TMH read. You have to consider that: (1) he acted very town until he voted and (2) he seemed sincerely convinced that Lelouch had claimed scum. I am still leaning towm.

Yes, I did have a better case on Tragedy (excluding LL's scumclaim), but seriously, a Tragedy lynch-wagon was just COMPLETELY UNREALISTIC by the latter ends of the day, and keeping our vote there would just be no help at all. Plus, Tragedy made sense as a LL-buddy.

The slots are more or less equl in my mind at the moment. I'm not against switching my vote to Tragedy at a later date, I just a.) I played with Ythan in my last game before I went on semi-retirement and I'm hoping that means I'll be able to read him easier than Tragedy, who I think I've only ever played/read a handful of marathon games with, and b.) I had a feeling other people would be jumping on the Tragedy wagon with or without my help and wanted to look for scum in a slightly different place at the start of the day. Cover more ground, etc.

I like your initial posts from skimming them, but I need to look them over a little more closely given that esurio seems to think you're fluffing it up some. Frankly, if you ask me, we might need to look off the wagon, or at least on people who were "resistant" to it. It seems like we'd have less of a group to work on. Sure, there's scum on the wagon, but there's also scum off of it most likely. I have a feeling that people who weren't on the wagon may have been playing the uncertain card to try and gain some points, so that's what I'm going to look for right now.

Just seems like a very lame sort of defense of Leouch (not his actions, obviously, but defense of his alignment). The second sentence seems a little out of place. Could just be mb giving an honest comment, could be him trying to just beat us over the head with the fact that he saw Leouch as town.

I am not, and never have voted for lelouch.

This was in response to Tragedy who incorrectly asserted he was voting for Leouch. He's strongly asserting that he isn't voting for Leouch, as Tragedy implied. But this just seems a tad strong.

Maybe I am wrong with my read on lelouch (I have accidentally defended scum before, I can link if you want me to), but I feel he is genuinly trying (even in the post where he gave up he was scum hunting lol). I don't know what to think of the quicktopic topic, it may or may not be a coincidence.

Again, just a very innocent act about his stance on Leouch. "Maybe I'm wrong..." "I've accidentally been wrong before..." "it may be a coincidence...". Feels manipulative in the sense that mb53 is giving a heaving dose of uncertainty. Compare this to his post 174. This post is more rational and less full of doubt.

I have a feeling lelouch is faking stupidity. Why, I don't know. It first I thought jester, but I'm pretty sure the mod said they weren't any in this game.

Isn't there a scumtell in regards to bringing up a Jester? In any case, this doesn't seem right. It's like he's laying the groundwork for staying off any potential wagon. Anyone can say this, regardless if they have history with Leouch or not.

So my vote is going to mb53 for now, and I think it's another good starting point for discussion today. SSBF also made some strong points. The esurio, Ythan, and Espeonrage votes all seem kind of half-assed. There might be something to the Tragedy vote, but I need to look into that more.

Tragdy, I think you are playing dumb. As far as I see, and according to my read of your play, the problem is exactly that you:

1) refused to join the wagon on Lelouch;
2) questioned people voting him even though he was scummy as hell;
3) never bothered putting together a defense of Lelouch.

Explanation (at least, the only explanation I see): you are scum. You knew he was town. You wanted to look town by not supporting the wagon. But you didn't really defend him because you wanted him to die: scum always want townies to be lynched.

@Espeonage: I re-read your ISO and it's outrageously contentless. You never explained your townread on Lelouch. Do it now. Should be easier "now that you know he is town" (heh, being scum, you knew it yesterday as well, didn't you? but let's say you didn't)...
