I have seen the role 'you have the power to die at any time during the day' get used by the player who was going to get lynched. I don't see how this is different. Say we're lynching an innocent player who targeted Zelink. That player would OBVIOUSLY prefer to get vigged and let the actual killer be autolynched today rather than waiting until tomorrow, for example.

Read A Clash of Kings, where the 'name cop' who was unable to investigate alignment, asked a few different players to claim. He didn't have enough information to actually make accusations off the bat, but, from reactions, was able to secure a scum lynch and a confirmed town. So sit down and stop bitching.

I wish I could declare people not providing information is scummy, but I've seen it time and time again where players are stubborn for no good reason and they flip town after they're lynched for the behaviour and then are unrepentant and say "well screw you guys, I just thought the question was stupid"

So instead I didn't approach it from that direction, I didn't take a stance on scum or town, I just wanted Cirno to answer why it was pro-town behaviour, because whether he's town or scum, he was anti-town right then.
His reaction would have helped me cement a read.
As it is, he's leaning scum to me, and not just for his refusal to answer.
