See, here's the thing though that I keep going back and forth on.

You are absolutely 1000% right that if either of them are scum you should be dead. Add into that the whole "playing the game" and "not making up stuff for lols,gut" and "being town without pissing people off like SpyreX" you are ABSOLUTELY a high priority scum kill.

And, lo and behold, kills are missing.

Alright, I made it through 26 pages (not bad for one night). But now I find myself seeing letters/words and not absorbing them so I have to stop for the night.
One nice thing is I am reading with the knowledge of Umbrage's flip so I see several things that others may not have picked up on their first read through.

I love how people are going to lynch me and give jack shit about how I am actually going to play this slot or my reads. Yes, I have volunteered and will go ahead and get lynched but it's pretty anti-town to be dead set on my lynch without caring about the content I will provide.

I'm more hey lets lynch scum. Not hey lets lynch this person that disappeared since she got the gift of the day and is claiming it's a vig ability. Lets lynch her based on nothing at all and cross our fingers that she's town and not scum and uses the ability at the town's whim.


Yeah that doesn't make sense. I just want to see one of the 3 people diddin has on the list lynched or vigged. I also had more of a scum read on the person Juls replaced so I'm more interested in her views.

In general, mb53 reads as town doing their best to keep up but falling short.

Juls, how is it you “don’t know what the vote situation is” while not bothering to find out, but you are able to quickly respond (and win) the trivia question when it is posted less than a half hour later?

In that vein of inquiry, I would like a very detailed timeline of exactly how things went down. When did you see the trivia question? How long did you take before you submitted your answer? What were you doing when you noticed it? How far in the game were you while conducting your reread? What spurred you into immediately answering it?

I don't think it's very fair to judge Juls on the fact that she answered the questions immediately after she replaced in and clearly hadn't read much of the game yet. I mean, I wouldn't have known that the had been an assigned person to answer the question until jmurph said something.

It sounds like Juls could be a variation of a vengeful townie? If she's scum, though, I don't want to give her an extra kill cuz then we can't do anything about who she kills. How does that in any way make sense? Wouldn't it be better to vig-kill her and lynch someone else?

I'm going to disagree with your thoughts on 390. It's easy to bus for scum. Placing a vote and just walking away and letting scum get lynched is much easier then fighting it.

I have been chatting with farside again. Im not so sure I want the Juls lynch anymore. I mean, I spent a little bit of time defending the vig shot off of silver N1, all that really changed though is Juls making this stupid move, which was a very stupid move. Unless we are getting rid of NtW though there is no good reason to make the lynch I think. A good point was also raised of if Juls is scum, she is just going to vig town and then we go to night.

I am staying on TJ until further notice.

If Juls is scum, she'll shoot whoever she wants to. And keep in mind, I'm fairly sure this shot is unblockable. In a game with this many claimed PR's, we don't want that. Someone just Vig juls tonight.

I don't want a Nanook lynch either now that we know he is in this neighborhood.

Night one I wanted bob gone as I don't feel anyone who only posts primarily two lined posts to be all that useful to the town. It was the first night, and honestly I didn't have any reads that were all that great, so I followed suit with Rainbow and Farside which started all the suspicion on me to begin with. I guess they just couldn't understand what my reads were either as they made me aware. Later I wanted to target bobs still because I saw he still continued posting like he did .. just popping in with a quick tid bit, unless of course it had something to do with him.

I don't claim to be a smart player, and I wish that others would stop holding this standard of me. I play mafia for fun, not for ego like so many others do. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I like the mystery that surrounds the game. Out of all the games I've ever played on this site, I may have made it to the end in like 10 games if not less.

My logic behind thinking that buzz lightyear could be scum may be stupid to all of you, but I think it would be bloody brilliant of the mod. So when bobs mentioned lasers, I more or less assumed he was buzz light year. I didn't like the fact that I couldn't really get a read on him, or anyone really for that matter, and in turn want to vig him.

That's actually a really good point since the trade-off seems to be good unless she shoots a PR...but that's always the risk of a vig, too...right?

I don't know that I even want her dead. It's not like a regular vig shot. We're potentially risking a townie for a townie, when we already have a vig shot at our disposal, with at least two seemingly competent players to use it. Honestly, I don't think it was wise to claim that, since the only way you could use it is if you were dead, so she basically just used it to try to keep herself alive. This whole thing is so silly.
