There can be instances where you choose between different type of scum.

Take, for example, a game with both mafia and werewolf factions. The mafia faction has lost three members already and the werewolf faction has lost one. In a game day, you have a cop (finds mafia) and a seer (finds werewolves) both claim a guilty. If you believe both are telling the truth, you'd prioritize killing the mafia (attempting to remove the extra kill) even though you also have a werewolf guilty.

Similar to a sk / mafia situation: you want to remove the extra kill as priority between two choices where you have

alignment knowledge

.

Directly hunting for just

one

faction over another is bad, though. You are then not looking for all the scum, you are looking for

a

scum, meaning your view is limited and your analysis similarly blocked off, which does nothing to help the town. Hence my problem with anxiety's

heavy

focus on staeg's supposed "sk setup of conspiracy."

Haze brings up a good point I haven't really considered, I still think Staeg will flip serialkiller but I am leaning more towards lynching him today.

Basically even if the sk is hunting scum he/she is not guaranteed to hit properly, meaning risking town deaths in exchange for possibly maybe having an anti-town kill anti-town. Why waste time allowing more deaths to accrue and speeding the game towards lylo instead of just getting the anti-town death out of the way and slowing the rate at which town approaches endgame (meaning more chances to hit mafia with a lynch)?

such a rigid view. this a dynamic a game, it is not a static game like chess where there are set rules of movement.

idle thoughts is null at best.

i understand why i am in the bullet group, i am fully aware of my inconcise playstyle. however i don't get the reason for deathnote. if anybody should be in that group it should be me and sleepykrew and maybe captain planet or diddin. sk and i have a very similar style that is tailor-made for getting reactions. deathnote's play is nowhere near that.

on the plus side, the fact that your willing to take a firm stance on so many different people makes me believe that you are town. so i am willing to support you as long as you don't constantly push lynches based on that rigid perspective.

Oh, and this probably means that the SK has limited or no cop-protection.

The reason why the kill is anti-town is because SK

was playing at least decently. Unless the dayvig is Anxiety, I can't see how the shot came from town.

Because Anxiety is a MUCH better shot than SK, so the only person who would shoot SK instead of Anx is Anx himself.

Here, there is nothing that even remotely resembles him wanting to make me, as the SK, dead, as opposed to now (which actually gets me thinking; there's probably some reason why he said that he KNEW that I was an SK, not a vig, this early).
