also, I think I have failed to comment on the whole zed/tammy deal that has been ongoing. I personally feel that it could be town on town there. I don't see tammy as scummy, however I do feel that zed is trying to actively scum hunt as well. No strong read there either way.

My vote still on Norman, we're not going to get anywhere with him playing, and I could be persuaded to switch my vote to Pine if needed, but at least he's vaguely playing, going to ISO foxace and see how scummy he looks.

Right, zdenek gets some scum points for his stupid questioning of Tammy's questions. Asking questions is a fairly common and completely valid playstyle, and I don't like the way zdenek was trying to read so much into them, and his argument looked a little like he was reaching. Also he goes in three hours from 'I like Shadoweh's points against Pine', to voting Shaodweh ( viewtopic.php?p=3926095#p3926095 and viewtopic.php?p=3926204#p3926204).
And foxace's recent posts are making him look scummier and scummier, would be happy lynching him atm.

I'm having a bit of a dilemma. I've never been a fan of policy lynches in general, and definitely am not in favor of them due to play style hatred, but I'm seeing a few people who seem to be genuinely uninterested in the game and unhelpful to town. Maybe they're like that on day one and get better as the game goes. I don't know; I have very limited experience with this site and generally try to stay away from meta as much as I can anyway. However, people who skate and are unhelpful will never be nightkilled - as you said in reference to Norman - and this is pretty frustrating. I don't want to lynch Norman though. Does he get better? He seems like he has potential to get better and this is just day one antics.
Of the ones who have been completely unhelpful and don't seem like they get better, I'd almost be happy to get rid of one of trekker, haze, mastermind of sin. I hate it when scum lie low and sheep to avoid notice and don't do anything to help town. But, there isn't enough rope to get rid of people who refuse to play and catch scum. Although if scum is in there, that's awesome.
But my three top suspects:
Zdenek - Don't have to explain why as I've already stated quite clearly what I think of his seedy posts.
Greenknight - I didn't like his response to my question about why he was voting zdenek in the original thread and why he's voting AVox now. In the original thread, he said he was voting for Zdenek for his post #40 which he deemed to be pointless and stuff scum could easily post to appear being active, and then not changing his original vote while posting analysis and some meta stuff.
When I asked Greenknight why his vote wasn't still on Zdenek he said the original vote was a reaction test and that he didn't respond in a way that he thought would be incriminating.
Nevermind that this response is to one of two questions I asked him about, which is exactly half of his total posts to date. This response is completely fluffy. Especially in light of Zdenek's response which did have a reasonable answer, but it also had an OMGUS vote, and he then asked AV why he considered Greenknight town.
This is how I would expect scum to answer why they originally voted for someone and then why they don't have the vote anymore. The exchange looks off, especially with Greenknight going out of his way to point out to me that Zdenek was on the same wagon with him now (AV) even though Zdenek was voting for him at the end of the last thread.
AVox - Didn't like his attitude in the last thread and certainly don't like that he hasn't made an appearance here yet.
I'm also weary of LMP. This could be some residual first thread stuff as I really didn't like his attitude towards the massclaim situation in it and I didn't like that he made it clear that he was voting RT and assumed he had found scum but didn't explain himself. Now that he's backed off and accepted that Feysal's argument was good, that has gone away, but I can't let go of the feeling I had on him originally.
I'm especially weary about his scum hunting techniques. Looking for word choice can be a valid way to find scum. But, he's voting Normal for using Think and Might. I don't think this is a scum tell, especially on day one. Town has no idea who scum are for sure, we're going to say things like that. It's not a definitive scum tell. Also, town makes just as many mistakes in wording as scum do, so it's not a guarantee to use this technique, and it needs to be coupled with other things.
It is a valid technique, and I definitely wouldn't vote for him today because of this, but it's something I think we should keep our eye on. The thing is that this kind of scum hunting technique doesn't cost scum anything. Because mistakes can be pointed out and everyone can agree on things like mistakes of word choice or consistency. Therefore, scum doesn't have to worry about a mislynch coming at him because he can clearly point out the mistakes that were made and doesn't have to answer for any questions of subjectivity. Neither does he have to worry about any of the knowledge he has leaking into his reads. If this is the only technique that he employs to find scum then I would definitely want to take another look at him in a couple days.

Foxace's posts remind me of the newbie from EM I played with who was under suspicion for wanting to hammer someone early. It's only scummy to you because you're holding him to your own standards. We have 20+ pages in 4 1/2 game days. That's just silly. As a member of the working class, I have time to post ~once/day right now. To expect the day to be nearly over already (in less than a week) is pretty much ridiculous.
I had made exactly one post prior to this. One. Which was an early suspicion of the current leading wagon.
And yet, you decided to more or less ignore anyone else and focus entirely on me, capitalizing on my absence.
You've referenced Epic Mafia, so I can't figure out whether this is general idiocy, or the completely ass-backwards and bad meta you've picked up from that site.
Reading right now to more fully catch up. I really can't stand these threads that put out several pages in the course of a day, then get pissy with people who are constantly behind. Stop reveling in your own waste, shut the fuck up, and let others catch up.
First of all, Pine, I don't know about you but I'm a good guy. And I'll be Lawful Good because I don't like chaos...
Secondly, I'm voting for you because someone had said earlier you were buddying with someone, whether or not this is true can be debated, and quite honestly I don't even see who you are supposedly buddied with.
Thirdly, Pine, since I just revealed pretty much my role to you, publicly, so do me a pleasant favour and get your absurd vote off me along with the other uninformed ficks who placed their stupid shit votes...
Lastly, since pretty much every active player has voted for me, I've decided to share with everyone my true intentions and reasonings behind every sort of coverup in this game. After every active player decided to vote me (beginning with briz) I did something incredibly retarded but worth doing because I'm a reckless gambling P.I. I wanted to lynch myself in the case that people were getting annoyed. By doing this I influenced a vig claim and made everyone speculate if there was a vig. This probably caused more and more intentions for the scumbags to vote for me. So afterwords when briz was doing all this shit in the background, it was the perfect time to make an act of deception. So I violently shouted in words that I, myself, was a scumbag. In doing so, pretty much everyone reacted to it and more of them voted for me. While acting like a scumbag I wanted everyone to try and accuse me with bullshit reasoning. Some of it worked, some of it didn't. The players I've found scumbaggish so far are kondi, Lemons, Cooldog, briz, and Jackal after analyzing each post for bullshit reasoning. The people who had seemed to have a reason but really didn't are also bullshitters. I'm safe to say atleast one dirtbag is on my train. Also a word about Shadow1psc, I wanted him to lynch me but he was hesitant to the point and didn't bother listening to me. Whether this is an act of scumbaggery or townish-like, I'll never know.
What I just did was reverse psychology. Maybe there was never a scumbag on my wagon, but with about 8 people on it I find it hard to believe.
I can name a few of these bullshit reasonings: The way how I play this game, and the OMGUS debate. If you still think I'm bullshitting you can go to Hell and play Russian Roulette with Hitler.
