This one's simple. I don't actually believe that scumslips exist outside of newb-scum. But I've seen, repeatedly, over and over, town lynched for saying things that are patently stupid that everyone takes for a slip and goes aha. "There's no way town wouldn't read their Role PM," "There's no way town would vote a townread over a scumread," "There's no way town wouldn't hammer someone they thought was scum," etc. The argument is bad. I can continue to harp on why this argument is bad, but etc.

There is no way on God's Green Earth that you can say "Yes, that's not scummy as fuck" unless you think he is a VI of epic proportions. I mean a Foreseen Circumstance / Shotty level VI. Having looked briefly at Geezer Mafia there is no way you can claim that.

So no, I do believe he's slipped in that he's inventing his actions and motivations for his vote. And he needs rope.

Since we've hydra'd and you know how I work, I have to wonder simply how deliberately dense you're being.

So I'll repeat it in small, simple words that hopefully you can comprehend. If it makes you feel more comfortable, I could throw in repeated quotes in here, make it feel like home.

Scum (outside of newbscum who don't know better) do not 'slip'. All those cute slips of the tongue[1] like, "Go ahead and vote him, I'm sure he'll flip town" instead of "I'm sure he'll flip scum" -- those do not come from scum any more often than they come from town. And since there are more town, and because scum have an incentive to re-read their posts for consistency that town don't and so are arguably less likely to do it, it's stupid. Saying, "LOLOLOL SLIP" is stupid. I could repeat stupid here a lot more, but, it'd be stupid.

However, I like (<--- sardonic) your conflating of "scumhunt" with "scumslip" like it's impossible to catch scum without going "LOLOLOL SLIP". Keep that up in the future.

I've done this. As town. Sometimes intentionally (lying about my reasons for voting someone to see what happens), sometimes unintentionally (post, sleep, post something different because entirely different frame of mind).

I'm not, and this is the key you seem to be missing, even saying you're wrong. Ajax could be scum (though I think the chance of him being scum is lower than the chance of amatuer being scum.) I'm not trying to get you nor Quilford to change your votes because I think you're both town.

Why are you only picking me out of the bandwagon Magua? 5 other players are voting for Ajax. Is it because MoI, Hito, Quil, etc. have posted lots and lots compared to me so it makes sense to attack the player who has posted the least? That's all it looks like to me. Ajax has been scummy no doubt about it. So has Theamatuer. I needed a tipping point, and Quil provided one that I agreed with (and was a point I was personally trying to get at pre-vacation). It's a good vote regardless of flip.

Speaking of votes, you made a point to vote Hito over Thematuer for whatever reason. Now that Ajax has moved to L-1, that's the tipping point that changes your vote? All that Theamatuer did between then and now is make two excuses to not hammer Ajax....speaking of...

Why isn't Theamatuer voting Ajax exactly? Same reason I didn't like Ajax not voting Goeth earlier. If you're town, you know that you are 100% town and automatically every other player has a better chance of being scum than you.
