I like the non-confusion theory as I feel similar not being able to get a grasp on this game. The vote on me is very weak from PV, and the initial easy wagon vote on split who he had not really mentioned previously looks bad

Okay so, here's my problem with Pere. I think that Pere is one of those players that has a tendency to come off kind of suspicious naturally. We have one completed game together in which I read him as scum the entire game. He was town and a cop. It's throwing me off here a little. I'm not big on meta, but I also know that I have a bit of a problem when I misread someone in a game wherein I doubt my ability to read them in another.

My biggest problem with Pere though is that there's really not much initiative being taken. He's asked some questions, but doesn't really seem to be trying to find out who the scum are.

For instance, he asked about my read on TML, but that's where it ended. I don't know what he thinks about TML or what he learned from my response because the interaction stopped. So, I feel like he wants to know our opinions on things, but doesn't want to get involved in the discussion except from the outside...if that makes sense.

I'd be willing to vote for him though, but I'm kind of leaning towards Pizza/Split spot. Pizza's interactions and day one looked horrible, and then Split did little more than lurk and find one contradiction and that's all. I also still hate TML's reaction to the nightkill and think it's a bit weird that she's become absent as well.

I believe our scum is in this group. I don't want to say which of these two I am most suspicious of b/c I think they have all been lazy/reactive for the most part. So, if they know people are willing to vote for them, hopefully they will take a little more initiative in actually trying to catch scum.

I was also interested in seeing who would ask me this question first. I was hoping it wouldn't be you. So now I have to try to figure out if you just happened to see my post first and reacted to it or if you have a guilty conscience.

First day on the job, you know what I learned? How to spot a murderer. Let's say you arrest three guys for the same killing. You put them all in jail overnight. The next morning, whoever's sleeping is your man. You see, if you're guilty, you know you're caught, you get some rest, you let your guard down.

The Jester MattP Tammy -Didn't like MattP's incoming posts, but generally find Tammy town. I did point out that I wouldn't know scum-Tammy if she fish slapped me, so take that for what its worth
knoxZeek Scott Brosius- A lot more apathy from Scott than I expected, which is causing me to lean scum. But I liked some posts since they seemed to come form town.

Either way, I think he may be absent from the site overall, so can;t really even question him.
Pizzadudes7splitfarvle- Pizza was a big suspect day1, and expected split to elevate this slot from scum-junk. But it never happened and now he's replacing out.

Anyway I'll take another look at Dr./Hez. I haven't re-read Dr. cuz just didn't have the stomach for it. I've seen him play town similar to here, but that playstyle probably isn't hard to do no matter the alignment.

Yeah. I looked at the timestamps. That's why I said I was hoping you wouldn't "just respond" the way you did. I wanted to see who would get antsy and want to know more about that statement because, yes, the one asking the question first is the guy not sleeping. I try different things to set up traps - especially when I have no real lead. When they are tripped, I always attempt my due diligence at discerning if it was tripped for the reasons intended.

This is one of the things that got me miffed earlier in the game. I was trying to get information out of one person and another person was answering for them. It was driving me nuts!

So your trap is to say there are two people you want to hear from, but not say who, and hope that a skittish person will ask you who thereby demonstrating that they have a guilty conscience?

Does this passive play style work for you very often? Being vague like that really doesn't put any pressure on anyone and makes you actually quite easy for the killers to ignore. If there are people you want to hear from, pressuring those people and asking them questions will probably help you with your leads a lot quicker than just saying there are a couple people you want to hear from.

It is frustrating when one person answers for another person though.

Problem is I am more confident with PereV and I feel like this is an important point in the game. PereV is literally teh only person in the game I haven't seen a towntell from.
