Re-looking at Rainbows replace in post it's actually incredibly underwhelming. The VT claim related question seems like it'll go nowhere and is filler and the lack of any stance on the Shotgun/Podack argument looks like leaving options open depending on how the day goes.

Also throw Argulla(Bork) in to the bottom of the town category, forgot them.

Maybe it's because I haven't played with him before, IDK, but you won't have my vote anytime soon.

How exactly does Code look town?

If you have a townread on me, and the majority of Code's posting in this game has been about me being scummy (albeit, I drew him further into the conversation, I know), then what exactly makes Code look town?

Pedit: granted, but scumhunting only limits to those we find scummy. I wasn't lax at all on scumhunting drmy; bork, more so, but I actually do fear my read on him might just be bouncing off Om, so I am not as confident. But I provided reasons why he was at least pinging my scumdar.

There has been a lot of apathy for this game and minimal scumhunting. I am now in my

ninth

active game; so if bouncing of Om's reads, who I feel was being majorly productive, is how I feel I can be most productive in this game, I won't hesitate to do so. I can't be as active as some and I give attention to games as I feel I need to (prioritize). Om had this one under control and I was happy with that. Why the fuck he has decided to flake I don't know.

Pedit: I need to go away and consider this.

If everyone feels Code is town I submit that bias may be getting the better of me.

On the bolded statement, I'm failing to see the logical steps you're laying out here: Townread on you > Code mostly post about you being scummy > Code should read scummy?

Why would Chrimi's townread on you have anything to do with the read on Code?

And on the italicized statement, there's accepting that you might be wrong and there's trying to shirk responsibility for your words. Please be careful to do the former, because this is the kind of thing I really like to pounce on people for.

For the moment, in spite of your read on Code, you're feeling kinda town to me...but yeah, less meta-related knee-jerk votes and more analysis-based thought-out votes plz. I have no meta on anyone in this game and I'm not sure how I feel about seeking out previous games to do research, so I'll be basing my votes on what happens in this thread mostly. Obviously if meta is important to a case I'll check it out, but I prefer real evidence (quotes, reasoning, etc) Thank you for your cooperation.

- Don't like how Potack thinks drmyshotgun should be defending himself rather than finding scum. It's actually the opposite.

- McStab is town. His Venmar slip find was great, even if it isn't an actual slip (which I'm not sold on). I also thought I saw one too. Venmar said that the other game was his first time as scum. I don't know. I thought scum at first, but the fact that some people have a townread on you makes me think otherwise. There is no reason to think you are town, unless you are a mason.

Just had a conversation with SH, he thinks Rainbow is more likely scum than Andrew. He thinks that Andrews defence of Shotgun and reasoning attached with it is less scummy and more just all round bad making Andrew a worthless player but not necessarily scum. I can sort of see his point; because while Andrews logic doesn't mesh at all with the 'that's anti-town' his "I wanted RP to go first so I wouldn't have to out thinking he was a mason" sort of line and thought process makes sense. I still want him to explain what exactly makes him think that shotgun is a mason though and should be in his next post.

Really like Argulas catch up post, specifically the wording point about Venmar the 'only time as scum' vs 'first time as scum' is a decent point, don't think it's a super strong scum slip or anything though because of possibility of scum in ongoing games ect. ect. but still think him pointing it out is a town-tell, also really like most of his reads, with the exception of me having a town-read on Tech/VE and a nullish read on Shotgun our reads are almost identical.

So right now I'd say that all the scum are probably inside of [Rainbow, TAM, Andrew, Chrimi, Shotgun] with Rainbow/TAM being more likely followed by Andrew.
