Oh oh... Come back to this after she claims flavor...
Zang wrote:I agree that the wording is terrible but I don't see why scum would fake claim for absolutely no reason.
Town don't really have a reason to either but they are much more likely to do it.
*nods* It's a valid point. I will say that I can certainly think of a reason scum would do it. I don't claim to have any strong evidence as to my theory... but it's certainly a possibility...

Banna wrote:The objective probability that I am town is much higher than the probability that I am mafia. I (probably) killed Tierce.
And the buzzer goes, "EHH" wrong...
If you were town, you wouldn't say "probably'... The power you claimed makes the probability that you killed Teirce as close to 100% as possible in a game of mafia... Explanation: IF, you didn't kill Teirce, someone else must have, THUS, someone else MUST have targeted her, THUS, your ability MUST have kicked in.
The only possible way you DIDN'T kill her is if you were blocked somehow, and that still means someone else targeted her which essentially means you WOULD have killed her if not blocked so it's more or less moot at this point.
Your claim is fake and thus you feel compelled to insert a word like "probably" to help give you wiggle room later. Sadly, it contradicts your claimed power.

Iec I think you're already lynched so you can stop pretending.
LOL at starbuck not even mentioning my name today.
This game has turned into a parade of silly claims, with kortul being a hider and Iec's claim marking him as probable SK there was no reason to assume scum failed a nightkill by targetting someone else. Unless you happen to KNOW that your team failed a kill, right Starbuck?

After some snogging to remove the Time Vortex Energy from my body, the Doctor has just barely concluded with his regeneration when I am picked up from inside the TARDIS and brought to this game.
I have some remaining Time Vortex Energy within me which allows my body to activate the TARDIS and commute just one time. This saves me from all night kills and investigations performed while I am commuting.
For me, I was on the end of my term papers and now, both my finals are due on Tues. Hopefully, the beginning of this coming semester will give me a little bit of a break.
Gah, I've been really busy the past two days or so and I only have a few minutes to post, but I definitely want to get my word in before the day is over (since it looks like Starbuck lay down the Iec hammer). I don't believe Iec's claim just because his role with the targeting of players doesn't sound like a town role. I also don't really buy his explanation for why he targeted Tierce. Would Jason's flip really convince him with such certainty that someone he previously had a town read on is actually scum, to the point that he would try to kill her?

What can I say, without her smiling face to cheer me up I've fallen into a steep depression lessened only by cheap scotch and killing me some scumz.

Since there's a lynch, lets go ahead and look at the votes on him.
Greyice, Korlash, CMAR, Acomist, Zang, Starbuck...Surprise surprise, Acomist has the worst vote on the wagon. He is SCUM. Iece has been ruled the SK at this point, so why not just come in for your only post of the day and speed lynch him? Acosmist needs to be lynched next. He comes in with an activity post and a bandwagon vote. For someone who is just 'here' he paid well enough attention to decided that Iece is "scum" despite the fact that it is almost obvious that Iece is the SK. At the very least with Iece claiming to have killed Tierce he isn't scum. That smells of opportunistic scum trying to get through the day as fast as possible. We could have rode out the day phase a little before speed lynching Iece, so shame on all ya'll.
There is no doubt he is scum. Now to find the other. Looking through his ISO there are players he interacted with (interacted being a loose term since he's done less than me) and players he hasn't. He 'suspected' GK and Jason Day 1. Though I don't see where he backed these claims up ever. He did end up having his vote on me after I pressured him, but I bet he would have been happy with a Jason lynch. Why didn't he come back to hammer? Probably because Tierce told him to stay away from the thread. If Jason was his 'top' suspect why didn't he come and take the opportunity to finish? Because his buddy Tierce was on the hotseat and coming on to vote Jason would look bad. But anyway...got a little off track. I want to look as his actions with living players. He writes GreyIce off as town pretty early, even with Greyice doing his reaction test thing. Despite all was going on, he saw fit to question Kortul why he was pushing GreyIce for dropping his claim. His interaction early was with Starbuck, focusing on her for more than one post. He does take a shot at me for taking a big shot at Korlash, but really doesn't do anything with it.
The players he interacted with the most are kortul and Starbuck. He had called GK scum in #194, but never elaborated. He does eventually rule Zang as town too. But at this point his top 2 town reads are everyone's top town reads and top two scumreads are the two leading wagons. Acomist did avoid mentioning Tierce at all. Most of his interactions that were non committal were with Starbuck and Kortul. Acosmist has also not mentioned Korlash, Triangle, or Iece at all. (Until his Day 2 vote) He did kinda attack GK in a roundabout way, but it looks disingenuous to me. I think with his posting, it points to either Starbuck, someone who he focused on but never committed to deciding her alignment, or Korlash, who like Tierce he has ignored completely, or Triangle who's only interaction with him was to answer why GK and Jason were scum. Could be some subtle coaching, because Triangle realized that Acomist had in fact not given reasonings for his top scumreads.
And then panic justifying why she roleclaimed, even though it's not in her meta.
1) Town doesn't go "OH SHIT HIDER TARGETED ME" when they see a dead hider. They think "FUCKING CASH! FREE SCUM LYNCH HO!" Starbuck's reaction was to explain what happened if she was targeted, not to check the hider's ISO to find his target. Guilty conscience? Guilty Conscience. Times twenty.
2) The "I don't normally breadcrumb, but Rose is like super-important role."
Hello, are you fucking reading this folks? Rose was a 1-shot commuter. You know, a role whose sole purpose is to block kills? If you think your role is hyper townie and you can't be killed, you start acting like Joe the amazing hyper-town. But even ignoring optimal play, 1-shot Commuter is the weakest role ever. She's now effectively claiming VANILLA TOWNIE. And claiming it's a super important role.
Think about that.
Vanilla townie ?= Super Powerful role?
I'll let you fill that one in yourself. But honestly, a townie gets a role like 1-shot commuter they think "geez, really? Oh well, I guess it's better than nothing."
3) She claimed to be worried a hider would target her if she used her commuter power, but was afraid she'd be the scum kill.
Like really? She thought Tierce was scum, so she'd be killed over... me? The guy slamming Tierce? Or Kortul, he of the infinite walls of reads? She's done very little, and is now declaring her intent to do very little in the future.
Tomorrow the Starbuck dies.
