Don't forget to lynch camn if I'm not around, she's not demanding enough blood.

If SStorm flips scum, springlullaby is scum too. She's very grumpy that her buddy was lynched on day 1, and her second buddy is getting the noose on day 2.

In the off chance that SStorm flips town... I dunno.

If sea flips scum, spring is less likely to be scum. Otherwise she's still scummy. That aside, my scumreads are, in this order:

spring?
huntress
fujiko
camn
tracey

amrun

all others

DGB almost has to be town, a bunch of you are barking up the wrong tree.

Piggy is probably town as well, as well as Brandi. Listen, I know it's been suggested that scum bussed Telo early for the town-cred, but I really, really doubt it. A rolecop would be more valuable to them than the godmother, and depending on how scummy the individual players play, bussing her to the lynch D1 wouldn't even necessarily give them much an advantage. That's a major reason I think the first few players on the Telo wagon are town. The role-cop is too huge of a weapon against the town PRs for the scumteam to just throw it away that easily. I know it's
possible
, it's just not very likely. I'll post more on this tomorrow when I get my thoughts together.

Spoiler:
Please note: I have lost the capacity to care about this game because this playstyle is totally foreign to me, and I simply can't deal with it anymore. I've tried to use some of the scumtells you do, but obviously that didn't work, and when I try to bring things in that I am more familiar with -- the system of votal analysis that I know -- I'm told that I'm wrong and honestly it's just kind of getting annoying. And thus, I no longer care. Take my reads, lynch me, and then I don't have to deal with this anymore.

#1026: The only assumption I am using in votal analysis is that one. If you want, I can pull up links to games and posts where it has worked.

Voting Sucrose because she is scummiest that I currently see, disregarding some of the reasons I use for scumminess that about half the game seems to be doing, and a wagon flip will be informative. On top of that, I've noticed that when a lot of people are cleared if someone flips scum, then that person is usually scum, and I have an example, again, if you like.

Sucrose wrote:
1.
... you still accuse me of being scum trying to shut up Telo... I
still
don't understand why people think scum would try and shut up their partners, even if there wasn't daytalk...
2.
Anyone should know that anything caught-scum says is going to be pure unadulterated WIFOM, and scum probably know this too...
3.
And why do you choose to comment on the Day 2 vig issue now...

1. You bring up that Telo had daychat. So does this mean that a scumteam would have /let/ her get away with not posting? I've seen a surprising amount of times when scum simply did not check daychat, or didn't listen. On the other hand, she was clearly answering certain people and not others. While this does make me seem scummier, I think it's worthwhile to look at this a little closer, and even at how she answered others -- and this is the kind of thing that you wanted to shut up.
2. I tend to disagree. I have found and others have found in my posts as a 'caught-scum' townies and scummates. It seems a lot like wine, I find that it actually
is
useful.
3. I'm commenting on the vig issue mainly because I haven't been present during this game, and I had missed the entire thing the first time around. I placed you as vig and a townread, but missed the post where you started second-guessing yourself on who the scumkill was.

Huntress wrote:I ask questions to help me determine reads of people. If necessary I follow them up as I have done in a few cases but otherwise I just take the answers into consideration and chase up the non-answers. If you want to know more you only have to ask.

This is where I disagree. Questions are the easiest way for scum to show that they're 'thinking about the game', especially if they don't follow up on them. It's much easier to simply ask questions than to actually pursue them.

Huntress wrote:My stance on Telo never changed from when I stated it in posts 457 and 479. This is pure misrepresentation, similar to your describing my posts as mostly fluff in the previous quote.

In #457, I felt like you were defending Telo against Rach, or at least seemed to think that Rach was scummier than Telo, therefore defending You said you had problems with the wagon, while still saying that Telo was scummy.

Hi this is what I have I was posting during class sorry I couldn't really focus on mafia.

No? I didn't think it looked townish to begin with.

As a side note, there has been
so many
opportunistic votes on Sea's wagon. I'll actually be kind of surprised if a wagon happened that quickly and with that little objection and it turned up scum.

springlullaby wrote:I think Piggy is hard to read, because she kinda has been on cruise since DGB has declared her town. There is nothing that is terribly scummy in her iso but nothing outstandingly town in it either.
I think if she is scum she is not scum with DGB, and is more likely scum cruising under her wind (as far as wifom goes that would actually make more sense to me). Unless in the very extreme scenario of Piggy being a PR DGB wanted to keep over Telo. But that's a remote possibility.
Well first, how is cruising under a town read NOT SCUMMY? SERIOUSLY? Hell, I'm confused why Amrun and Brandi aren't going after Piggy. DGB even derailed the Piggy wagon. GAH.

What do you mean Piggy being a PR?

Horrible, unexplained reads because I have no idea when either RC or the bus will come, so...
Looking at ISOs so I'm likely to under cover stuff.

Amrun -- Find it interesting she got sucked into the whole argument with Brandi about RVS. Interesting she's dropped the entire Sucrose thing since D1, though her disappearance is quite the excuse for it (If I haven't offered my condolences yet, I'm really sorry about it. However, it is annoying that you talked a lot making more excuses than providing reads). Hate hate hate in general when people declare posts scummy or towny without any explanation... Skimming her arg on Tracey it seems legit at first glance. Then hammers me :c
Brandi -- ...She's still alive? Right she's still alive I keep forgetting that. Still dislike and disagree with Brandi from D1, mainly because she was hung up on the RVS thing while trying to stop the conversation. Oh yeah, then she got caught up with Spring... Don't like that she tunneled so much but hey she could be town for that.

bbl bus is here.

Another day slowly ticks by, but how much closer are we to solving the puzzle? No power roles have claimed, in fact, things have remained relatively civil. Well, as civil as a Mafia game can be...

"Your excuse is DENIED"

DGB stood up and affirmed her suspicions of Huntress. She felt like she had a pretty good beat on the game. Seastorm immediately pitches in, just the tiniest bit of sweat on her brow. DGB, surprised, is ready to hear what she has to say.

"..."

Nothing. A whole lot of nothing. Fujiko and PiggyGal15 look at one another. The clock continued to click down. Maybe they had more in agreement than previously thought.

"springlullaby and DGB's back and forth looks like it's between two townies."
"Pretty much everything that could be said about scumsea has already been said, and I agree with it all completely (mainly just what DGB has been saying)"
"Tracey still looks like a stubborn townie to me."
"townTracey is - dare I say it - looking like an actual possibility."

While they were busy finding agreements with one another, Seastorm's nervousness grew. This wasn't like Telo's lynch at all. Telo took her lynch on the chin, fighting her battle all the way to the very end. She felt boxed in, unable to speak, put off by the sudden swath of agreements that she was to be lynched. She eked out her claim as the time slowly ticked down, promising that she had a post that would fix everything. She didn't want to let her teammates down. Maybe she could do like Tracy had done. Yeah! That's it! All she had to do wa-

"As for seastorm, no one that is actually town claims without reads and then disappears. No one."

Amrun aggressively called a halt to the day. Seastorm, a
Mafia Goon
, was cut from the conversation. Good riddance, she not-so-secretly thought. Blasting out her last words of apathy and consternation as she bit the dust. Two down, and two to go.

Seastormjt,
Mafia Goon
, was lynched day 3.

Final Day 3 Vote Count

  • Seastormjt
    (7) (Sucrose - DrippingGoofball - camn - springlullaby - Fujiko - PiggyGal15 - Amrun)

    DrippingGoofball
    (2) (TraceyLyn11 -
    Fujiko
    - Huntress)

    TraceyLyn11
    (1) (
    Amrun
    -
    PiggyGal15
    - Brandi)

    Sucrose
    (1) (Seastormjt)

    Not Voting
    (1) (Eidolon)

With twelve alive, it takes seven to lynch.

With seven votes, that's a successful lynch and an end to day 3.

The ladies all sat smugly in their chairs. The two mafia secretly upset at the prior day's lynch notwithstanding, the game was going pretty darn well. This time a lurker scum was put to rest. If she had just been given a little more time, things may have been different. She was working on something major, but she just couldn't get it out fast enough. Amrun leaned back and thought with a quiet determination. Had she done the right thing? She just hammered her partner... but it had to have bought he some serious creditability, right? She was now the last
Mafia Goon
, and she planned to keep it that way. She left the darkness of the room with her partner. They discussed their course of action. As Amrun turned to go back into the room, the Mod told her that it wouldn't be necessary.

Wouldn't be necessary?

The Mod told her she should go to the room next door.

Room next door? But what about her partner? I guess the Godmother will have to finish this one on her own.

Amrun, a
Mafia Goon
, was shot night 3.

Vote Count 4 - 1

  • Not Voting
    (10) (Brandi - camn - springlullaby - TraceyLyn11 - PiggyGal15 - Fujiko - DrippingGoofball - Malakittens - Huntress - Sucrose)

With ten alive, it takes six to lynch.

The town has added one day to the deadline, this, plus the added base of 9 days, brings the town a total for one week and three days.
