i think plenty seemed like a panic move
i don't think Fe would realize "hi, I'm going down, better try distancing my scumpartners while going down!"
i think Fe probably put majiffy in the wrong place, got called out on it, and instead of admitting a mistake, defended with bullshit
that seems more like scum fe to me

I'm not sure what part of this summary of my play is supposed to be "stupid and scummy and scum."
Fizz has been replaced by buldermar, who's content so far is fine.
Am I supposed to think that Maj is town because I agreed with his plan? There's nothing alignment indicative about him telling me to move my vote. I agreed because the chances of Fizz coming back were slim, and even if he came back he would just stall, intentionally or not.

I'm not buying that Fe misplaced someone he called a town leader, especially since the rest of Fe's final read list was consistent with his first one.

↑pirate mollie wrote:insinuating that fe go from a town read to a scum read with me provoking him is essentially saying that fe is capable of smart scum play so tell do you know something that I don't.
weak scum don't make big moves with scumpartners
they slot them in town or null slots or slightly scummy slots, and they don't interact often
they are scared to change them because people will question them and then people will attack them, and that is scary
and the entire case on majiffy is that you scared him into calling majiffy scum? nah. you scared him enough for him to do something new. you didn't scare him enough to bus.
except why would it scare if that was not something he had actually done? if he didn't hand us his scum team why would he be scared he would have been jubilant that someone might actually follow through with that idea if he wasn't nervous about something.
I never underestimate how players can make such dumb mistakes it is usually town that does this but I have seen scum make some doozies like vote for dead players and shit. I have also seen newb scum do exactly what I am theorizing that fe did not once but twice. his read on majiffy looked like pure panic and again what was he panicking over if majiffy was not on his team.
i can be bothered but i don't know what more you want
I don't follow your reasoning with ns being town for the reasons you gave. is it a meta read?
I'll grant that Nobody Special flipping to voting Nachomamma8 briefly before going back to Fe isn't the scummiest thing, but his opaque posting just doesn't read like town to me. When he did vote for Nachomamma8, he later explained it by saying he had lots of reasons but most weren't to be made public that phase. It would have been more accurate to say that he wouldn't make any of them public at all. It seems like he keeps doing things to see if he can get anyone to follow along. Maybe it's part of some grand plan that's going to become clear when he starts posting, but right now I don't see where he's being pro-town.
I'm not following the case on Kmd4390. Right now the two main points are the much-discussed read list Fe gave with Kmd4390 being a high 'town' read and (I think?) that Kmd4390 was pushing a lynch on the Fizz-Buldemar slot, which, for the record, hasn't flipped either way (duh, I know) and declined to put down a vote for most of Day One, despite saying that Fe was fishy (#319). buldemar hasn't been crazy-scummy or anything, but he's not doing anything to give me much of a read on him either so far; voting and unvoting Nobody Special over the one particular instance of vote-hopping isn't enough for me to make up my mind.
WRT the Majiffy thing, with all the ridiculous things Fe posted as he dug himself into that hole, I don't really see the absurdness with Majiffy as overly telling. It comes off to me like he figured he couldn't really nail Majiffy with anything and so coudn't decide whether to kiss up to him or use him to invalidate the lynch. So he did both, neither very effectively.
I'm not inclined to move my vote from Nobody Special based on his overall posting, and I want to hear Kmd4390's response to the pressure on him.
Ok I just quickly read the last four pages and here's my thoughts:
-the majiffy votes make absolutely no sense. Uct looks like scum jumping on. Lastsurvivor initially does as well but later he seems to believe the arguement.
-as for the votes on me, if it's because fe cdalled me town, why vote me over nobody special who had the weird vote hop thing going on yesterday? I think he's town because of the "I generally don't bus" comment, but logic seems to point at him over me even from and outside view. If people were voting me because I voted fizz over fe, i'd understand but nobody has mentioned that. (Also fizz could still have been scum).
I still have my to do list to do, but for now:
vote uct

The reasons in question being why he was voting for borkjerfkin. Or it might have stemmed from the 'not replying to anyone not voting for borkjerfkin' in an earlier post not quoted here; it wasn't clear what Nobody Special thought was stupid to my reading. The whole thing's at the bottom of page 24. It may have actually been the latter, as the director later said:
↑the director wrote:Bork was on the fence about Fe for most of yesterday, and never ended up on his wagon. I wanted to mess with him for a bit.
And now KMD is calling the leader on the wagon on him townish, in the hope that it'll make people reconsider. And he starts a wagon on a completely new person.
Add to this his very questionable talk and hard-to-define opinions about the Fe-lynch, and I am definitely fine with him taking a long walk off a short pier.

@NS - no I just don't like people saying "hey to look townish do what I say." Also, if I told the game my read on bork when you asked, then bork would have been able to craft a defense for it. I wanted to see what he said based off a weak attack, a strong response would have indicated he was paranoid.
@KMD - Your defense thus far is more than lacking. Those on your wagon have a really good point, your handling of Fe was sketchy.
Maenara's most recent posts are giving me the heebie jeebies. The arguments she's making look fake...mostly because she's twisting kmd's words and her reasoning doesn't make sense.
Maenara who else is scum besides kmd?

Literally the worst response I could have imagined. I'm looking forward to KMD's response, and considering the mentality of the game right now, probably his flip. If he ends up being scum, then we go to NS and flip him as well. If he turns out to be town, Majiffy is back on the table, and you are next.

Because I couldn't possibly have several contingencies in mind, but none too concrete nor useful to bear mentioning right now.
I see immediately how one could only view it as beneficial to espouse the future lynching of pre-determined targets rather than awaiting people's reactions to a potential lynch and following flip, and utilizing this data in one's assessments.
Surely, I have been blind.
Really, though, get a grip and start being a little bit more subtle about the way you're building up justifications for whoever it turns out to be convenient to lynch tomorrow.
