Spoiler: dgb has her mathematic orgasm
DrippingGoofball wrote:Here are some interesting paroxysmal wagons.

I have town read on the struck out players.

Pretentiousdra - 7 (

Om of the Nom

P=.25

Zoid
SPB
BT
Drench? How come I can't find Drench in the player list? Have I lost my mind?

Wyrd - 8 (Slumberpartybois, Kawaii, Pretentiousdra, zoraster,
Gammagooey
, Nobody Special,
One Direction
,
Quilford
)

P=.20

SPB
Kawaii
Pretentiousdra

zoraster

Mini-Lib

Zoidberg - 4 (
kuribo
,
Ythan
,
ThunderHog
,
Om of the Nom

WOW, that's an easy wagon to analyse!!!

ThunderHog
- 13 (vollkan,
Gammagooey
, Zoidberg, Wyrd, Kawaii, TheTrollie,
kuribo

Om of the Nom

Mmmm no red name in this list. First scum wagon, early game when town-cred really counts. I'm going to wager two scums here.

P=.25

vollkan
Zoidberg
Wyrd
Kawaii
TheTrollie
miniLib

zoraster
dramonic

zoraster - 5 (Pretentiousdra,

This is interesting because it looks like a totally town wagon... on one of my town reads.
P=1
Pretentiousdra

JacobSavage
- 6 (DeltaWave, Iecerint,
Quilford

Now this might have been a super-easy lynch. I bet two scums on this one.

Zoidberg

zoraster

Ythan
- 9 (
One Direction
,
Om of the Nom
, Iecerint, Wyrd, SlumberPartyBois, DeltaWave, Zoidberg, vollkan, Kawaii, BT)

This guy was saved... I will guess by a scum power, giving them an extra night. We had something like this in Gay Mafia I. Very safe late wagon for scum, given the alternative being probably town. 2 scums on this one.

P=.25

Iecerint
Wyrd
SlumberPartyBois
DeltaWave
Zoidberg
vollkan
Kawaii
BT

Not Voting - 11 (Mini-Librarian, zoraster, TheButtonmen, dramonic,
Quilford
,
JacobSavage
, Pretentiousdra, TheTrollie,
DrippingGoofball
)

Scum would be really dumb not to be on this lynch. One scum is dead, one on the chopping block, leaving 3 scum according to P-dra so I would say only 1 scum here.

P=.12

Mini-Librarian
zoraster
TheButtonmen
dramonic
Pretentiousdra

TheTrollie

Ythan
- 11 (
One Direction
,
Om of the Nom
, Iecerint, Wyrd, SlumberPartyBois, DeltaWave, Zoidberg, vollkan, Kawaii,
Quilford
,
DrippingGoofball
, Pretentiousdra)

Scum has no excuse not to bus here. Still two scums if not three.

P=.25

Iecerint
Wyrd
SlumberPartyBois
DeltaWave
Zoidberg
vollkan
Kawaii
Pretentiousdra

Not Voting - 11 (Mini-Librarian, zoraster, TheButtonmen, dramonic,

, TheTrollie, BT

Again, not bus'ing is foolhardy there *may* be one scum here:

P=.025

Mini-Librarian
zoraster
TheButtonmen
dramonic
TheTrollie
BT

ok:
is this total bullshit: yes.
would DGB go through the lengths of putting this total bullshit together as scum: ???

i need help figuring out that last part. now...

@nuwen
(because ive already heard from Fate regarding his take on this), why should i decide the answer to the latter question is "yes?"

Right now, I'm honestly leaning towards no. I get that scum
could
easily do what DGB did, but i just dont think scumDGB
would
do that. Because of this, i see your slot (mostly the Fate side of your slot) as strongarming DGB and pushing that lynch despite good reason for it to need to slow down.

Yes.

You have basically just explained DGB's playstyle as both scum and town.
Routine day with a dirt cheap brush
Then a week goes by and it goes untouched
Then two, then three, then a month
Then the rest of your life, you beat yourself up

Regardless, I'd say tbm, dram and maybe you trollie. I think I know mini lib's role now. I had it once, so he's moved out the antitown list. Won't say what it is cus im so pro town. Bt and iece could be sk but i don't think they're mafia.

Trollie, the point is
anyone
can tapdance hard and fast. Look past stuff like "would xplayer do y as scum/town?" and think more about
motivation
and
angle
.

Think carefully about potential motivations for DGB's posts. I'll give you a couple key ones:

DrippingGoofball wrote:
DeltaWave wrote:My flavor is that I'm literally God and I have a Zune that contains seventeen Elton John songs. I can force one person to listen to a song each night.

N1: Targeted Ythan with "I Feel Like a Bullet (In the Gun of Robert Ford)" because it sounded like it would kill him. I got no indication of what happened. There's a possibility this did the governor thing next day but I'm not sure.
N2: Targeted Wyrd with "Postcards from Richard Nixon." This was a watch ability. Nobody visited him.
N3: Targeted The Butt On Men with "Your Song." I don't know what this did.

I believe
this
guy. It's a counterclaim with complete and believable results.

We don't have two Dreaming Gods.

And I don't believe
that
guy.

SPB

So check this out: dueling counterclaims are an easy situation for scum to figure out. You pick one or the other and can spend the entire day obfuscating anything else you do with screaming for one side of the deckout. The REAL
town
play here is to realize that high-power counterclaims eventually resolve themselves, because there are
two
anti-town factions in this game that don't want a bomb power role alive.

Scum want to lynch counterclaims in this situation, a town reaction probably pauses a little. You can currently see that Phydra agrees here; night actions will prob resolve conflicting claims. He has modified his lynch priorities for the day accordingly, which is pretty natural town behavior.

OVER THE CLAIMED COP

NOT A CHANCE IN HELL

DrippingGoofball wrote:
Wyrd wrote:HAS NOT CONTRIBUTED TO FIGURING OUT NIGHT ACTION RESOLUTION

Oh get lost

I suck at that

Especially in RECK games

And here's just more inconsistency.

"You guys wouldn't be projected by a bodyguard." (read:
DGB has thought about nightplay that doesn't directly affect her/her role in this game
)

"I suck at working out night resolution."

Look, seriously if you're not seeing it by now there's not a lot I can help you with. Just sheep a read I'm confident in, for a LOT of cumulative stuff. We haven't been wrong about much in this game, even though putting it through a sieve == lots of bullshit.

the main reason I think/thought DGB was town was that i did not like ur reaction to it. but u having experience playing with DGB before actually changes things.

fine fine fine

You can check The Sopranos Mafia, an ancient large theme modded by Mastermind of Sin, but that's after I'd been doing wagon analysis for a while. It's one I remember off the top of my head.

Oh DGB.

Wagon analysis is not my problem. My problem is your seemingly purposeful misinterpretation of the
implications
of your wagon analysis. You are claiming that I have ~140% probability of being scum based on where I voted.

  1. You didn't formulate those probabilities correctly
  2. You are attempting to pass them off as fact
  3. They are based on assumption

I have no doubt you use this technique all the time. But pointing at the analysis itself and saying "I do this as town therefore I am town" is not proof that you are town. The act itself means nothing. The conclusions you draw and the implications you make are telling.

Furthermore, why aren't you voting me if I have the most imaginary scumpoints on your silly scale?

I don't explain everything in detail every time, it gets tedious. Most of the time people have already seen this.

If you have particular questions, I'll take the time to explain it to you, but bear in mind that I'm playing badminton tonight and I'm leaving in 15 minutes, and when I come back I like to shower and I can't guarantee you'll get your answer before morning unless you ask me rIght nOW.

i know ive often ranted against VCA in the past, but putting that aside - why is it that i rate so high? if its due to minimal voting, keep in mind that, as i think you well know, thats part of how i play

@pdra 2969: okay that makes sense

ive now caught up reading wise (access is still an issue but). i dont really see the case against DGB at all
