I believe that comment came after I talked to Nuwen on Facebook. When I spoke to her there, she didn't think she was breaking any rules (and she wasn't). I didn't feel comfortable punishing someone for doing something that wasn't against the rules (I didn't even have the "don't quote QT communications" rule in place then).

Then we forgot to keep up with it after that but the other requests probably wouldn't have been approved

Actually the game changed from uphill battle to unwinnable when you refused to get lynched on Day 6. We could have lynched ANYONE on day 7 with exactly the same result. We lynch DGB or Iece, the other nks and quicklynches you on D8. We lynch me, you or Zoid, DGB kills whoever she wants and quicklynches on D8.

I may be paranoid but there are a lot of iffy things about this "confirmation" that smells of scum shenanigans, including:

(1) this happened day 2, not day 1. Reasons are dodgy.
(2) this happened after the JOAT-traitor was presumably recruited.
(3) Om, who was no threat to anyone, was promptly killed off the next night to seal the deal.
(4) your surprise that YOU were confirmed rather than some other random player sounds really contrived.

I believe that the scumteam is uber powerful and that you may be the weak link.

Om nom got a RESULT PM, he didn't get a "message PM" or whatever it was the JOAT sent. I assume there is a pretty big difference and that Om knows the difference.

I won't speculate on whether Om would know the difference. He might not. Your assumption that there would be a BIG difference is just an assumption.

If you want to speculate, maybe the JOAT could fake-confirm another player in his arsenal, and that was the most valuable power he had, and used it on Night 2, after you recruted him..
