Everyone needs to watch the M vs CJF game that just happened. Everyone.

It's the second one in the series.

Millenium?

Their toplaner made some terrible misplays. Both in the first game as Renekton (1v1 a 5/2/x Urgot w/ baron buff wat) and the second game as Trynd (1v3 at blue buff wat).

Shy, though, was great. Both his Rumble game in game 1, and his Elise in game 2 (saw a very nice rappel out of an Ez ult towards the end).

The overall game is absolutely nuts, though. It was like that game I nerdgasmed over in this thread about 1-2 weeks ago, but even more exciting imo.

Silver 2. I'd prefer queueing with people higher than me (due to generally being the fill guy anyway, so being near the bottom makes more sense and provides less confusion), although I'm willing to go with people within two divisions from me to keep the matchmaking system from derping out.

EDIT: I've never seen a team throw a game so fast in the finals of a tournament before. The first game of the championships was over before the third minute mark.

I'm Silver 1, and I'll definently play with you.

I'd love to join but Riot's masterful coding makes the client think I have firewalls blocking the client 9 times out of 10, even when I open my router up completely and disable every firewall running. So no LoL for me until they patch this shit. Again.

Put this ad out a while ago but need to re-post it; we've recently had a member of the team step down due to not feeling it was the right fit for them at this time, so the situation has changed to where we are no longer looking just for subs but also a permanent member of the team. Please either message me on AIM (ahallucinogenic), the league client itself (ONM hallucinogen), or via PM here if you're interested. Same times apply although we may be open to moving them around a little on some days. We're open to people who can play any role at this point but would prefer a jungler.

Not trying to #soloqproblems, but how do you win games where J4 has 3 kills, LB has 7 (!!!), and your support provides no presence? I got like 70 cs in a 20 minute game, because despite my fb double, I couldn't step up to the creep without Soraka and MF poking me while Lux sat at turret, probably because we had no ward coverage.

I just want to get better at this game, but it's so hard when I spend 25 minutes just waiting to GG it because it's clearly over. (not being defeatist, but 7/0 LB and the team down 10 kills with 0 peel feels pretty bad)

I'm guessing you complain about it on MS while saying you're not doing so.

When you get past that step, the next step is to try to get better instead of spending 25 minutes waiting around to lose.

I feel like there's only so much one can learn individually from a loss like that (obviously the dynamic changes in a team situation, hence why ONM now avoids late-game protect the carry comps like the plague because we're just not good at it) and saying that you should "try to get better instead of spending 25 minutes waiting" kind of ignores the fact that in the described situation there actually
isn't
anything he could have gained beyond that point.

"We're losing, therefore I can't learn" is a terrible attitude. Any situation in which one does something wrong is a chance to learn.

This is where he learns what warding is and that it's something that not only the support does. It's also where he learns to farm at tower so he doesn't get 59 cs in 20 minutes and call it 70. It's also where he learns how to play more safely in lane.

He had 8 deaths that game and the other team apparently had a fed Leblanc. How much do you want to bet at least one of those deaths wasn't from LEBLANC OUT OF NOWHERE? This is where he learns not to step out into areas of the map alone when his team doesn't have vision.

And so on and so forth. Unless he did nothing wrong that game, there's something to learn from it and saying "NOPE, CAN'T LEARN, WAITING 25 MINUTES TO LOSE" is a terrible attitude.

Also, TBG, you had a support Lux, so you did not have 0 peel. "Our Lux was too bad to know how to peel" is not an excuse unless she didn't peel even after you asked nicely.

LB is one of those champions that stops existing past 25 minutes if anyone on the team builds to counter her. If she's the primary problem, have someone save their CC just for her, then blow her up while she can't do anything.

I used to love picking Ashe against her just for this purpose.
