I don't bye your claim one bit, and even if you are a neutral, why would you actively say you want a Vigi to kill what many players believe to be one of the most pro-town players at this point. Neutral or not,it seems you may be detrimental to our success.

But with that said, this is old stuff. New info has come to light (and I have said why Ferret dings my radar a bit less now), so I'm not currently feeling his lynch right now. Why don't you ask the people that are actually voting for him why they think he's scum?In post 398, Ravenpaw wrote:

Reasons for why ferret is giving me scum vibes:
1. He says in post 72 that the votes are all still random, yet in 162 he would say his vote on Skull from post 49 was (still) legitimate.
2. Post 178, his backtracking in his words that he meant to write “could” as well read as so very fake. (And actually if the word 'could' is added the sentence doesn't read correctly anymore).
3. His making an issue out of my activity and voting was terribad, and held no water whatsoever. It felt like he just wanted to show that he wasn’t just sheeping Rated R.
4. He has time to ask what is IIOA which shows he’s reading the thread, yet doesn’t respond to anything in the actual game?- Amethyst Actor

They are bad because you are not trying hard enough to catch scum. You dont give enough reasoning or thought behind your actions. Your questions is called out by me because it feels like jyou are trying to join in the ongoing conversation with very little to say, for example " Why is x scum, i dont see it" ----long period of time---- "i dont get the votes on y"-------long period of time
How is GCBC null-town? This is mindboggleing.

Desperado, and everyone else interested in an ISO on ferret.
I have tried to approach this with out a predisposed idea of what ferret is, but rather take every post at its face value... easier said than done. There is also nothing in terms of history to use as a blueprint.

Yeah, so he apparantly doesnt take the early stages seriously. In a nutshell I´d say a null tell, but the way he does this echoes concern to me. And that concern is towny. He tries to be a kind of medietor, explaining why people could be overreacting "its early, random votes and shenanigans" and then asking them to stop it in a towny way. He could have said "stop it", or he could have taken sides between the parties involved, but he dont.In post 72, ferretlover wrote:I think that right now it is still all random votes and shenanigans. Can we all just stop overreacting to everything?
In post 146, ferretlover wrote:This is all a bunch of bullcrap. How was that fishing?
He was just asking about a possible breadcrumb, because scum will use that later if they can and want to. Removing that possibility druing their play makes their claim less believable. I actually think that that is pro-town.
I never really understood the breadcrumbgate and I dont understand his reasoning here, BUT I belive that he belives what he is saying. In post 152, ferretlover wrote:I didn't even see any breadcrumb happening, but I don't see it as bad to point out a possible breadcrumb.
I belive this to, usually scum will do one of two things when having an unpopular opinion, either they cave and change it, or they go balls to the wall, screaming that they are right. This post could offcourse be read as the prior case, as in "I still think I like my vote", I can see a case made for that statement leaving an escape from the vote. But what strikes me first is genuine concern and doubt in his vote, but he is still voting, probably because this is his top suspect, but the faith he has is that of a towny, he simply isnt sure.In post 162, ferretlover wrote:You may as well point out the breadcrumb, why wouldn't you?
I agree, this should go to the Mafia Discussion forum for when to claim that there is a breadcrumb...
I still think that my vote on Skull is legitimate and I don't see what's wrong with it. Can someone enlighten me?
Dont like this. I mean I can buy that he missclicked and iso´d raven by mistake, why ? Because its too stupid off an reason to come up with as an excuse to move ones vote. What I dont like is his reasoning. I think moving your vote arround is towny, especially early, because townies constantly get alot of new info to make decisions on. Scum, I think, will be more inclined to the mindset "well I have voted now, no one can come after me for not voting", after that there isnt the same drive to use your vote. This lapse in reasoning is close to null thou I belive. In post 164, ferretlover wrote:oh lol

I hate this self depricating pussy ass style, scummy. His reasoning on Krabs also looks like scum trying to have a town read with poor reasoning. All in all, I dont think he is good lynch today, there are stuff thats bad, but also stuff that is good, add that with the variance we would encounter of basing our decisions without history and I think we can leave ferret alone for now. Let this slot develop.

I think that's a fair analysis of the slot, but I also think it nicely illustrates the differences in interpretation regarding his actions. At this point we have 6 pages of him telling us how bad and lost he is (also, really don't like the "cause I have a LIFE!" defense. No one else is having to excuse their inability to read the game they signed up to play), and no effort put forth to do anything to change it. Labeling him as newbtown right off the bat didn't help, as it disincentives him from getting better if he actually is scum--all he has to do is keep dumbtelling and it'll just reinforce your perception.
With that said, Krab is scum for:
#159 - Warning his scumbuddies on the Duggery wagon that they look scummy AND hedging against any potential mislynches should we lynch on that train ("unless they are just town playing poorly")
#s 129 and 165 - in #129 he waffles on Ravenpaw's "Cain has a scum quicktopic!" tell by saying that it could go either way, and that he will have to "analyze their play and look on further at their play in this game before I come to a conclusion." Somehow he does all of this two hours and votes Raven in #165.
#172 - Seconding ferret's terrible "four votes = scum" argument.
#326 - "Just to clarify, it wasn't so much a defense of ferret, I just thought the reasoning against ferret was poor." This is in reference to his #172. Huh?
#404 - Severely lacking explanation for #s 129 and 165. In particular, "As for your further play, it's been better but it still leaves a scummy taste in my mouth." Not the first time Krabs mentions how Raven is doing something good but he's still going to vote her
#413 - Another bad explanation for a previously scummy action. This time #159 was designed as a bait and switch to make him an easy target, allowing him to catch scum going for an easy lynch. It didn't make sense the first two times either.
#455 - Compare these two quotes:
In post 300, Krab Bucket wrote:Notes made from when I was asleep:
FuDuzn, you might have read Marangal well that game, but you might not this time.
TheEsquire made some votecount bookmark in the thread, it comes across as an attempt to act Town, without really contributing too much.
Jebus's post seems more Town to me, scum would generally be immersed to contribute and make an impression early on. I get why Sven wants to vote him though.
MonkeyMan's vote seemed like a desperate attempt to bandwagon.
Ravenpaw seems to be in hyper defensive mode, desperately trying to counter every point against her. To her defence, I've had situations like that in past games. Also, "I kind of was hoping I’d get a scum PM for this game, twasn’t to be though, sadly." is REALLY suspect imo. Town shouldn't have to drill it into our heads.
Personally have a null read on Esquire, the scum part is based on gut though.
Raven's #237 seems condescending, which can either be anti-town, or very minor OMGUS.
Svenskt seems to be actively scumhunting extremely well, his votes are a little sporadic though, probably part of his technique.
Doctor, we're out of RVS I believe.
#260 is a pretty good defence from Raven to begin with, shame you went back into defensive mode straight after.
AA needs to scumhunt more from what I can see, I agree with others on that matter.
#266: No.
Nero Cain's defence for putting Skul at L-3 is poor. You would have contributed to their death if they got hammered.
How does Jebus not posting go from town to sloppy and anti-town?In post 455, Krab Bucket wrote:I'd equate Jebus's play as sloppy, and anti-town, but not necessarily scummy as such, which is why he's not a suspect of mine. I can still understand why you guys are voting him though, we do need him to contribute somehow.
~Krabs
#479 - "Jebus has been posting in the thread. His posting style also doesn't seem manufactured." 1 of Jebus' 5 total posts was spent telling Krab that he hadn't been posting, and I'd love to hear how you concluded that Jebus' style was not manufactured based on hisliterally contentless iso.

Well let's see. Raven opens up with a gripe about hydras, votes one of them (our slot), and the other 3 votes don't look RVS either. I can understand disregarding a hydra lynch/policy lynch(?), but she doesn't follow up with where her previous 'scumreads' stand in light of her new votes. She just drops whoever she voted and picks on people for single instances, such as saying Nero slipped. In post 169, Desperado wrote:So...you've now vote/unvoted THREE TIMES.
