What do you guys think of Ashe support? Besides the fact that she has no sustain, she could be a potentially powerful support with her slow...right?

Oh and if anyone's into ARAM, do you think CDR+AP on Ashe would work? Because I can get the Volley down to 2.4 seconds cdr...and it's a pretty large aoe.

You can get volley down to 2.4 seconds without going AP.

Even 1/4 Health Leona does a lot. You're a support, and basically the least valuable player early, because you don't farm, and you create no pressure unless you're with someone. Any time you can trade your life for that of the enemy jungle/adc, or to save anyone on your team, it's worth it. Even support for support is worth it half the time based on matchup/assists.

I had a game today where I E towerdove pre-6 onto 3 people to secure a kill. I flashed out, and managed to trade myself for their Lee. It was totally worth it.

Sona or Janna for me in ARAM.

If you're dying early, you have to make damn sure you're getting something good out of it. If you get behind as a support, you're relying entirely on global gold to be able to do anything since you will have a lot of trouble getting gold any other way.

I wasn't going to get behind from the death or I wouldn't have done it. Their Cait was dead, Nunu was too low to stay and was going B, and Lee was the only one left capable of doing anything. Taking early game Lee's gank pressure away for a little while to give me assist gold + get one of Vayne/Noct a kill was totally worth it. Both ended up snowballing, in part thanks to getting 375 gold each from that, and they won me the first game of my Gold IV series, too.

top 10 champs off of win rate on ARAM (in order, past week) are sona/heimer/kog/soraka/janna/ziggs/lux/zyra/taric/nidalee

Caitlyn sits at 15th (+6.55%), Ashe at 12th (+7.46%), Jayce at 33rd (+2.80%), Blitz at 46th (-0.12%), Jax at 82nd (-5.24%)

Landing hooks is *really hard* against a competent team. Also tons of other factors like mummies blocking every hook and going "lol free gapcloser? ok".

its more that theres no guarantee that what you hook will be something you want to hook and people whenever they think of blitzcrank in an ARAM seem to think he has some hidden passive where his hook is magnetically attracted solely to the squishy in the back as opposed to the galio in the front

I'm interested to know if it's AP or AD Kog that does so well.

And I'm shocked that Blitz is so low. I guess ARAM blitzes suffer from the same problems as SR blitzes; pulling fed Karthuses and bruisers into the middle of their team.

Doesn't matter, it's his joke that's OP.

I'm more surprised that Jayce is so low than that Blitz is so low. Jayce has the strongest physical damage poke (Most champions that are strong in ARAM early deal magic damage and Jayce forces the enemy team to split its resists), is really strong in skirmishes, pushes towers well, and becomes super bursty once he gets a muramana (max attack speed for 3 hits? yes pls). I'm not sure if people just don't play him well or if there's something about him I'm not seeing that makes him weaker.

Jayce is just a major bitch in lane. His teamfight presence is weaker and he has to be much more careful about what he does in that environment because he blows up easily.

Jayce's ARAM teamfight isn't bad. You can either pretend he's a self-peeling AD carry or, depending on enemy team comp, you can play him as a pseudo-assassin. His teamfight presence is much better than Nidalee's, for example, who has to either hope teamfights break out in the absence of minions or wait until her team is mostly dead and try to clean up a squishy or two.

I don't get why my normal elo is so absurdly low, but that doesn't prevent me from enjoying it. This happens every time I play ADC so why doesn't my normal elo go up? It's a mystery.

Yes that's right i won a lane with support Nidalee, it is possible when the opposing adc is really awful.
