Nidalee's teamfight presence is exactly the same as her poke presence: chunk everyone off half their HP every 3 seconds. The only time she really ever needs to do anything else is healing someone who can use the attack speed or going into cougar form for a quick assassination.

PEdit: I've won lanes hard with support nidalee before. It's hilarious when the enemy laners can't dodge spears ever.

Nidalee support is really strong in lane in low elo. She's just useless when teamfights roll around and the AD carry is being mauled by a bruiser.

ceph: my normal elo is pretty high (I have something like a 55% winrate and 150 wins over losses), and I still manage to go 11/2/18 as graves with three bloodthirsters. I think that most people just use normals for practicing things they don't usually play.

Presumably that's why you keep the lane heavily bushwacked. If your lanemate can't dodge Leona aggro that's visible, that's an entirely different problem.

I do decently as Nid in solo-lane, provided I'm not facing two enemies with a crapton of CC, and I get decent ganks.

Support Nidalee isn't bad in lane (if she wards, which is a 50/50 chance if you're lucky). The problem is that if you haven't won the game hard by 15-20 minutes, you're basically playing a 5v4 the rest of the way.
