But for serious GM this is better from you appreciate a different point of view on him... and it helps that the out come is the same as my theories on him.
It be great if you could do something similar for other suspect people in the game
You've taken a wee shuffle from null to slight townread in my books

I think a lot about meteors. The purity of them. Boom! The end. Start again. The world made clean for the new man to rebuild.

I think there may have been one new one.In post 278, TheGarantula wrote:Yeah, all he did was reiterate his own quotes to show that he'd been involved with Cabd for a while. He didn't actually make new points :p
It's possible. Or you could. In post 280, Guyett wrote:Ok so you have done a lot of work on cabd... much of which I agree with. Any chance on a similar amount of work on others? theeeeeeeenks

Makes sense, though part of me still feels like 'but what if by then its too late' and would seem better to not leave that up to scum (or dumb newb). But I don't want to start some kind of debate about this here, thanks for answering my questionIn post 268, TheGarantula wrote:If someone got quickhammered without being allowed to respond I think the voter would be pretty quickly bandwagoned the next day, if even only out of policy.

Basically he answered capably enough to clear up most of the points of contention I had with him, and a shift in gut had a bit to do with that. He's still in my scumpool though (a fancy way of saying "scummiest ranked (# of mafia in the game +1)" or, for this setup "the bottom 3")
I really need to go to sleep. The readslist is half done. I will likely be busy most of tomorrow, but it should get done anyway.

I also feel like I read this at some point, but I don't really understand why it would help scum in a newbie game. They already know who is town so it doesn't really tell them anything, meanwhile it helps with process of elimination for town.In post 284, ryhx wrote:Well, you can't be the first to post everything. Anyway, this is more game theory but its my undertanding that its better not to overly elaborate on who is really town, so I err that way.

Some schools of thought claim that explicitly stating reads helps Scum decide who to NK/mislynch.
The problem with that is twofold:
1. Town is then left with even less to go on, since not taking a position means you don't have to make sense really and since not taking a position greatly decreases content input;
2. Scum can pretty much tell who's more dangerous and who'd be mislynch fodder regardless.
This is why I like to elaborate lots.
Hopefully this post is coherent, I tried to proofread it but it's giving me a headache and blahhhhhhhhhhhh 3am posting (DON'T DO IT)
Does it even answer any questions? I DON'T KNOW

Why would you want to breadcrumb? Breadcrumbing can only benefit scum.In post 289, bestwillcui wrote:Oh, and I asked, "Are we allowed to breadcrumb in this game?" or something along those lines.

I don't know what you mean by that.In post 292, Cabd wrote:Uh..... Well, GM, You mind talking to me ffery-conversational style?

I'm guessing Cabd means specifically that it is a PR slip. Because PRs breadcrumb their roles. In post 295, TheGarantula wrote:How is that a town slip?
I personally would disagree with that assessment because I think he'd have brought it up sooner if he were.
My expanded readslist got lost; I'll try to do it tomorrow.

I'm curious, not arguing btw.
I remember responding to bestwillcui's post about breadcrumbs before but I don't remember anything after that last I had checked. What all was posted?
P-Edit:
@goodmorning: What can breadcrumbing do for town? Isn't the idea that town can use it as evidence of their roles? If so, scum can fake it easily. They also can use it to communicate on the downlow.

Newb-Townie gets to L-1 with no other case in sight from their POV. They ask if they can roleclaim and then people tell them nobody has declared intent to hammer. They look for alternative ways to claim without claiming. That smells pretty fucking town to me.In post 296, goodmorning wrote:I don't know what you mean by that.In post 292, Cabd wrote:Uh..... ALso I mean as in I like having somebody to chat with and converse with on thread, talking over each post as I go. Like, say, tomorrow or so. I just prefer somebody I'm town-reading so you or best will do, but you're obviously more experienced.
