I don't know what key combination I just pressed but I just lost LITERALLY the entire endgame scene and I don't have another twenty minutes to put it together this morning.

The gist of it:

After two Nights of no evident scumkill, you concluded that the scum were not only beneath dairy farmer levels of competence, but you actually decided to string up a cow.

The cow thought the lynch mob was running by and got ready to count them like cars on a freeway. But no, they were coming for the cow.

The cow was confused but rather annoyed, and when things got rough he stood on his hind legs (which only cartoon animals can do) and gave a wide shrug.

Everyone immediately got back as the cow began spitting bullets, causing Mr. Flay to Riverdance while Kison got the noose around the cow's neck.

I'm not allowed to talk about the players until Team Mafia is over.

To be honest I really do apologize for this game. I hope you found the flavor entertaining, but I don't want to revisit this setup to any extent. Nor do I want to revisit my modding capacity - please take my word for it that there was once a time when I was the only person eligible to win Smooth Operator (no, I didn't win it), because with this new job keeping me away for ten-plus hours at a time I'm finding myself ramming the upper limit of how much time I have for the site. Seriously, I spend almost all of my free time on this site right now (not healthy in itself) and I still had trouble delivering Awesome Moderation in this game.

On the bright side, this game allowed me to check off a few things from my bucket list:
*using the phrase "Hascow's Wager" in any legitimate context
*making a "mauve" pun ingame and in a legitimate context
*using the Asexual Revolution as a plot point for a game (it was originally going to be the theme of the second MetaTiger)
*using the Soviet anthem in any legitimate context (what can I say? I have a soft spot for chorales)
*referencing Toto's "Africa" in any legitimate context (okay this one was borderline but close enough)

But then, things I did NOT get to check off:
*doing a Korts death scene that referenced The Mask ("Sssssssssssmokin'!")
*using the term "facemeat" in any legitimate context

As you can tell, my goals for moderational excellence may not align with those of most of the site. Variety, spice of life, etc.

Each role was designed as Town and the scum were chosen basically by unconscious decision. Basically like throwing darts. The game was intended to give the scum a lot of power as I anticipated an effort to break the game, but, well, etc.

The entire purpose of the mith lynch flavor was to prove that yes, I

can

find a way to make mith a member of a Revolution against... mith.

I never did get around to correcting this, but Faraday pointed out during Night 0 that he doesn't actually drink vodka. Sorry for starting that meme with such a falsehood :/
