Flavor reasons, as implosion and I discussed earlier.

If Monkey is Zepile the artifact shouldn't give him any abilities like he claimed(going with the character's flavor.)

But there is a Troupe member, Kortopi, who has the ability to copy objects and can gain information from the copies. It would make some sense from a flavor perspective for Kortopi to track or watch whoever got the artifact for example.

Now, Monkey stated outright that the artifact gave him abilities

even though there was apparently nothing in his role pm to suggest this to him.

So it looks like a scumslip.

Well based on my flavor knowledge of Zepile I would, but I'm assuming your not familiar with that.

But in any case, fruit vendor exists as a role, and a one-shot fruit vendor can have some fringe use.

The problem I'm having is that you asserted outright without a doubt that the artifact gave you an ability. You also said that you'd rather not talk about it because it would reveal more about your role, implying you knew what that ability was.

I never said without a doubt. I was making an assumption. If you want to lynch me for that, go ahead, I'm sure you could do worse, but you would think that people that, you know, didn't have proven night actions would be higher on your list.

We protected CF Riot instead of ourselves. No other deviations from the list. I changed my mind on CF upon rereading his posts. My best guess at the lack of night kills is that scum tried killing CF. It would make sense to get rid of a vig. If this is the case, CF is confirmed town. If not, they probably shot at one of the people we protected either because they thought we were going to waive or because they didn't want to narrow the list of suspects by shooting a scummy player.

I still have a lingering FOS on Magua for reasons mentioned last day phase. Sooner he claims, the better. I'll post more after the mass-claim.
