Newbie 1391 - Game Over - FINALLY!!!

A quick question to everyone (which bugged me overnight) which I want to pose before night in case I am no longer here. Did anyone else notice the inconsistency in the ruleset with the Jail keeper Vs Roleblocker? I know I didn't notice it and I was one of the roles who probably should have. Should I be reading into the fact that Mr. Flay (who I consider the most scummy person left) is the person who read the mafia PM to notice this? As an experienced player he knows the standard order of play so it seems odd.

This concerns me more now. If you are familiar with how the role should work (as according to the wiki), then there is no reason to go reading the mafia role PM. You already knew the answer to your question.

But NachoScum can't be a roleblocker. And I'm starting to think you missed this because you didn't have to think about the different combinations possible. Perhaps you already knew the type of scum we had in game?

I knew how it's supposed to work: RB stops JK if they target each other. So the speculation about "well Nacho is scum because there was no kill and he was JK'ed" didn't make sense, because Nacho appeared to have a pretty good idea who the JK was (see 523). If Nacho is scum, he would have broken out, more likely than not (at the time I was thinking we were probably in the Column A setup... there are reasons for a BP not to claim, after all). So I went to read the first page, just in case I was crazy... which is what led to the Note to Self in 556 ("tristrbtj" stands for "the roleblocker is supposed to resolve before the jailkeeper", from the wiki). I didn't want to give any actual Mafia Roleblockers ammunition in case they hadn't realized this yet... but eventually it came out in thread anyway.

Simple solution champ. Jail nacho tonight, if you or anyone else dies we lynch flay, if another night without a kill we consider potential wifom from the mafia and carry on with the plan currently running.

Oh and feel it? Self hammer as town? You are honorary scum like chkflip if you flip town cos that's just a cop out.

I wouldn't put Feel It and chkflip in the same basket. chkflip's play was terrible. Feel It is well aware that he has 5 different people intending to lynch him today so just helped the process along with 24 hours left until lynch.

And Feel It will flip town. There is no reason to lie after hammering himself.

And in case I'm not here; don't rush into the Flay lynch. You have 2 weeks to make sure it's the correct decision. It would be good to hear Nacho's view on all of this as well (remembering he is confirmed town *until day 5).

If there is no night kill again we are auto killing nacho regardless of any wifom he tries, bringing us to 4 if he isn't scum. Champ then has a chance to choose right in the night, if unsuccessful we are at 3... Hmmm.

Oh, and I should point out, had I been mafia champ would be dead right now. That would have put us currently at 5 left with only nacho confirmed, and with a status of being seen as town by most I would only need to create two mislynches out of three of you.
