It is fairly unrelated, but it is also a possible excuse. Its one of those statements of ambiguity that work either way. For what its worth, I never intended to use it as an excuse-it actually was a random musing when I first said it. You gave it a life of its own and turned it into an excuse, which I acknowledge it can be used for. I know this is a cop out answer, but like, I'm the one who plays the mind games here not you.

Bleh fine.
Now tell me, do you disagree with me that FakeGod's points about your play not making sense as a cop are not invalid? Do you think he would go so far to try and lynch a cop, when it's obvious people don't agree with him, as scum? And on D2?

I understand his perspective on play as the cop. I disagree with it on philosophical grounds, but it is a defensible position.

I would be willing to lynch Penguin over him. Maybe Desp, but my worry there is that Desp is actually useful if town. I'd rather try to get an investigation in.

Now, as to asking if he'd try to lynch a claimed cop on day two as scum. I think the answer is yes. He already did his job--got me to claim.

For the love of god, I need to reign in my play. I'm starting to sound like Saki.

Like I said, why would he do that? He already suspected you are a cop, why not keep quiet and kill you at night? Now it's worse for him, both because he has all the attention on him, and because doctors might protect you if they exist.

Also, how is Desp useful? He has done nothing useful in 81 pages so far.

I believe Nat's claim, because that's the way I've been reading him. (Null to town from the start, PR since he first claimed it in 366). My only concern there is why he didn't get nk'd but I guess they thought he would be protected. My suspicion of Sweet Pertayter was due to 55, 106 and 105. I thought they suspected Lynx of being a PR and were warning their partners (55), casting suspicion (106) and buddying to Lynx (155). But if Nat is telling the truth then I can forget that for the time being unless scum have some role that can affect his results.

Why don't I believe this? From what I've seen of your play this doesn't ring true.

I'm not in favour of a Desp lynch.

It's his claim of being stupid that I don't believe. So I don't see how he or anyone else could have missed those crumbs unless they hadn't been reading, and Bert has clearly been keeping up.

He's a shrewd guy. He's provided a contrarian view consistently throughout the game. Both of those are good things to have in your town.

I have a decent amount of respect for Desp's skill. Don't misunderstand me, though, I think he can be scum here--you wouldn't have to take much to convince me to put the hammer down on him.

UNVOTE:
VOTE: penguin

Ok. Let's do it your way, Natirasha. I'm back to thinking it's penguin/Desp/Huntress personally, but I guess I could see penguin/serra/Huntress too, with serra bussing slimer.
Let's do penguin today, and you look into Desp.

But they weren't the sort of crumbs that need to be looked for.

I'll explain the reads when I've finished catching up as they are still in flux.

You're going to have to bear with me

I'll re-skim later on my lappy. Don't rub it in

wis, there is a scenario where it would be optimal play to out the cop as scum.

it is when you are about to get lynched and you think your scummates are missing who the specials are.

I don't know if that is the case though. fg came off as too genuine and natural during that exchange if he is scum he is super smooth like vin diesel's head smooth.

I agree, mollie, but that's not the case here.

What do you think about penguin/serra/Huntress? Could you see serra's slimer push as bussing?

UNVOTE: Natirasha

I'll trust that the crumbs are there and give it time to see how legit it is. Not seeing the scum motivation for FG to out a presumed cop.

You already know how I operate.

If there isn't enough support for Nati lynch, then I would support the next best lynch according to my priority chart.

Lynch scumreads > Lynch null > NL > Lynch townreads

I already posted my reads in 1911.

I want Serra next. Lynching Potato is kinda risky since nati claimed inno.
