Okay, I'm thinking that SD might be town. I'll need to talk to Mala as I don't have much experience with either of them, but the reasoning for ns being scum is pretty convoluted in that it sounds like a town theory for why someone is scum rather than a scum theory. It sounds like one of those heads got a bit ahead of himself because the stances to him didn't make sense and then ran with it without thinking about why it doesn't actually make him scum.

Hey ns, remember when we were the hider and we got quicklynched day 1. and we did not claim in the previous iteration of Hard Boiled?
We were against the breaking tactic. I was against it because I thought Amrun was saying it for town cred. And where did that get us?

Remember Mala's Assassin in the Palace where YOU yourself suggested the breaking mechanic? And when I voted you for it, you said you were playing to win? What gives?

Not to mention you mention why I havent been here to discuss this when its pretty clear that we live on two different timezones. Its almost as if you were trying to imply something here.

Nonetheless, I think your reaction to the notion was bad.

VOTE: notscience

Yah dont waste your votes. Sheep me on ns. (No idea why Sal saying that warrants votes)

DP
It's not the stuff before that bothers me so much as this post. I actually feel like this is a scummy type of hunting (looking for contradictions- and it really isn't a great point considering you immediately proceed to show NS has done the same thing in this setup before as town...). The timezone point is a massive reach and really just looks like throwing dirt for no good reason. And you didn't explain what was bad about NS' reaction- THAT'S the part I'm interested in. I guess you could still be talking about his reaction to setup spec? I could see suspecting NS for this on account of the plan being detrimental for scum, but I think that stance is probably way too blatant.

Not voting because I have no idea how many votes you're at. And I'm not 100% sold anyway.

Eeeeeh. Not sure I agree with this logic. It's kinda the opposite of convoluted, really (I do think this is a solid argument in general but I don't think it applies).

Terrible vote.

Also I know TIP revealing the crumb AND directly saying what it is was bad and should have been told why it was bad. Once. Yet after someone has said it, we get other people saying it.
Yeah, one of the people telling TIP that him revealing the crumb is bad, is probably scum
. Like "hey im telling him off, give me town cred" when it was already said. Its not like it needed to be repeated again and again. So there. Someone who said that TIP revealing the claim is probably scum

Don't care for telling people who they should suspect, or the phrase "terrible vote" in reference to oneself.

The middle bolded is total garbage and about as likely as a random shot.

Also, if *anyone* gets run up and claims tracker, no one should CC them no matter what, since the hider will be able to tell us whether it's true the following day (barring the hider dying of course).

Ok!

I don't think you're obv town yet Science, sorry

Tammy, sure I have a hydra with Mala though she is the only partner I don't have a clear record with when it comes to reading them outside of it

Though I'm pretty sure that, when she goes straight into "working for town" she is, more so that not, scum.

her first few posts are her working for town, and her stroking my own ego both of which are things that put me on edge, especially since she goes after them this early

I'm going to go with batshit insane, but what do I know!
In post 262, VioleNt Saxophone wrote:also!

both her and C waited for me to pull the strings RE TIP almost as if one of the two are waiting to see if we can get him mislynched this game
Image

that like literally doesn't even make sense. But is such a stupid reason for a scum read on someone that I almost think it has to come from town.

Why did it not cross your mind that she has played in this setup before and used a method that was beneficial for town. You do realize you're the one who brought up that the hider should claim, and she linked to her experience. I was going to ask about this myself and suggest it if anyone knew the way to break the game because I knew there was a way to do it.

How did she stroke your ego? By agreeing with your idea and linking to a past experience in which it was used? I'm sorry to break this to you darling, but that is not stroking your ego.

Also, her asking for your read on TiP isn't remotely like setting up a mislynch on someone. You're literally saying she's scum because she didn't townread someone soon enough? This is exactly what I thought you voted us for, and I'm just going to. Just find a bat and see if beating myself upside the head makes this make sense.
Welcome to the world of Mara logic I guess?

The first hard-boiled game, she was hider and I don't recall her doing what she is doing this game.

She wants to give all hider-claiming cred to me. I read that as stroking my own ego, especially since no one ever gives me cred even when it's due

and TIP is more her waiting to see what I say before she does anything to him, even though I've stated something before she asked
In post 253, VioleNt Saxophone wrote:
but I'm not about to let Mala scum-up the thread and then get a town-read from me out of it
Oh I forgot to ask you about this. What the hell does this mean? Maybe my English skills are slipping but I've read it 10 times and still can't grasp the meaning of it.

The more and more I think about your posts this game they just seem really scummy, but I'd like to think that scum you would actually try to make sense, so you just have me super confused.
It means that We've never played a game as town together, and every game I have played with her when I was town she does something incredibly scummy, yet I read her as town for some insane reason and I don't want to do that this game
