In post 174, Lord Mhork wrote:Can you define why shos is super town? What about Mae? As in reasons other than gut.
shos is town for solid town posting. His thought process looks town. His reads look town. His reasoning looks town. And, in contrast to what others have said, I thought the way he handled his "claim" (whether you consider it to be a claim or not, shos, it's still been taken by others to be one) was also town. Overall, he has the aura of a town poster.

Now, granted. He's not a hippie-flower-sunshine-goodie-townie. :P I can
see
him as scum, but I can't believe him to be scum. By which, I mean, his posting isn't perfect; there
are
some flaws in it. But the overall general vibe is that of a town poster. Again, I've skimmed, so when I reread in more detail, who knows? But most probably...not moving. :P

And, no. I can't define Mae as being town beyond gut
because it's gut
.

Ok but how do you reconcile
gut
with people giving reasons for her being scum.

Point ceded on how shos can have a townish looking thought process. To what claim were you referring though? I feel like I missed something.

Arrogance? :P

I trust my guy more than I trust the reads of other people right now.

It's there, a few times. Would have to read in detail to find all of them, but there are a decent number of places it comes up.

Mhork: shos's so called "claim" was in . The "if I am lynched before or after I claim" thing.

Mastin: I'm especially interested in why you see bv as scum. This is why replacements can be a game changer - you might be on to something.

shos: You're (finally) creeping more toward town in my book. I will note the following line though.

Uh could you point it out? I would go look but I'm about to step out for my Psych class.

Also my quote for today: "Pride cometh before the fall." Please either disprove the scum cases or provide rationale on your Mae town read.

PEDIT:
That? Isn't this game openly advertised as Role Madness? That's the one where everyone has a Power Role no matter how useless, right?

Half-POE, half overall weak posting that looks bad in general. bv's outside my townreads, and bv's posting is also minorly tripping my gut as scum-driven. Plus, his interactions aren't the greatest, either.

I haven't been on my computer in over a few days now. Something more approaching a week and I kinda don't really want to do it.

You also don't understand what I meant as a "fight". It's more a discussion rather than a fight. A fight is more implying that I'm going to tear him apart and if we happen to both be town then it's not something I'd be willing to do since it's something that's in scum's favor.
No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.

Pointing out that you're backpedaling doesn't make it any less sketch. You put me at L-1 on page one; you don't just drop it when someone points out what you did. In addition the fact you you seem to not have noticed the logical disconnect between your not liking putting someone at L-2 in the first page and putting me there with 5 posts of that. You don't even provide real rationale for jumping on me, implying that you're just bullshitting opinions.

Odds are you're probably town because very few scum are that dense, but it's definitely something worth pushing.

What exactly is your opinion of early game wagons?
Also considering I'll be catching up right now
before
going to bed. The bolded is what I don't understand. You think he's town, but you are going to push someone you think is town.

Me no like.

Then what are your thoughts thus far? Who do you think is scum? I mean other than obv scum funky.

PEDIT:
Well yeah I feel like that sort of denseness is more likely to come from town than scum, but that most certainly doesn't discount its relevance. I want pressure to elicit real reactions and so far he's just been treating the game like a joke and not at all taking it seriously. I'm still processing what exactly that means.

I guess I'll narrow down what I really want from you though. Mae: town or scum? And, if town, why?

Don't think I support a shos wagon. Feels bad. reads genuine.

town... Idk, skeptical.

Mala, what's your take on so far? Got any reads on anyone besides funky?
What do you make of Mae?

PS - Happy Birthday! :D /confetti

Also, does anyone else besides Grimgroove not know anything about Les Mis?
:P

I wanted to see reactions from everyone before I got back from V/LA. He did however back pedal a bit when called out on. I
always
want to know why someone calls me town especially when it's not warranted after 3 posts. So yeah ofc I'm going to ask why.

Eh, I don't really trust Mork or BV. Slight town read on you and I need to see more from GG. Shos for me is someone I have trouble reading -- I once wanted to vig him in the past. :P

Thanks!<3

Also I only know about the movie. Short and funny story: I went out to see a movie with friends without actually looking up what was playing. I saw Anne Hathaway's name popped up without any knowledge of the play and was like I wanttttt to seeeeee her in this movie. Friend laughed and was like okay. I was then sad and depressed shortly into the movie. The end. :P

Referring to GG. He was calling Mae scum long before he actually voted. It was something that I noted on my catch up. Kinda felt like he was trying to be cautious how he went onto the wagon and trying to find a solid way on it without catching much light while doing it.

After my long and intensive catch-up it just didn't seem my head was in the right place of it. I had a lots of impressions on a lot of different people, making deciding on priorities difficult.
I actually explained in post . Felt more of an observer, so wanted to await personal interactions with people, in essence: reactions to my catch-up. In my view, Maemuki's was the worst.

Could you give examples of what sparked that gut, at least? You don't have to explain why, but it is helpful to show us what did.

I for one think free townreads based on gut are fishy. It's not a way to run to the defense of someone you honestly think you're town, but it can be a great way to get towncred if the lynch, against all odds, would be wrong after all. I've seen scum do it before, using the advantage of knowing what's what. It's a way of saying "I didn't want him lynched" afterwards, without actively stopping the lynch while it's happening.

In fact, I've seen you do this before as scum.

I do agree with you on elleheathen (town) and bv (probscum).

shos I'm working it out, I don't feel like going into a wall-war with him right now but his reaction to my notes on him is sub-perfect.
