I'm not particularly well-versed in the art of debate, but isn't this one of those cases where, if we are in agreement that one of SD & Quadz is scum, then isn't the Burden of Proof on you for why we shouldn't try to hunt the scum within this pair? Or, to make a shitty analogy, was our play wrong in ParadoxPrime?

One of them is more than likely scum. I don't understand why you're veering down another path, one that I think is town anyway, and ignoring what's going on.

I'd like to see this particular phrase uttered and I don't really know what to think between Quadz and SD, as I had them both as tentative town. So I'll keep my vote where it is for now and see if this 'V' (Varys? ) has anything to add.

I'm not ignoring what's going on. SD is a complete non-threat and Quadz is a claimed cop that can't be protected. There is no incentive to waste a day lynching one when night play will, with near certainty, sort them for us--especially when the alternative (lynching another player) gives the town more information than flipping a coin in a 1v1 where all we know is that one person claimed something first, and then another something afterwards that implicated the first person as lying.

See I still don't follow. To back out of this and suggest the night sort itself out and that sd isn't a threat doesn't follow.

If Titus roleblocks tonight we shouldn't have a kill depending on how it works. That also means that quadz can't investigate anyone tonight. So were waiting until tomorrow night to see if he's killed, though with the luck the scum team has been having who knows what will happen. Then then if quadz flies and flips town, then we go ahead and lynch sd for being a liar? And what if quadz just doesn't die? We hold onto this indefinitely?

There is something I want to think about with this claim though. And for who asked? Some people do think that you should investigate null reads, and not scum reads. I wish he'd have investigated me though, I'd at least be able to tell if he was telling the truth.

As of right now, SD/quadz could be T v T. If SD is a total fuckup and misdid his actions, then he can be town while quadz is town. Getting clarity from SD should be the priority. If SD cannot be clear, then I see no harm in following Messiah's approach. If SD is scum, he'll have to make up actions and be caught. If quadz is lying, he will most likely be caught fudging the night claim. After all, all cops should receive my flavor name tonight.

(Of course, this doesn't rule out rolecops or scum joats, but it will be pretty close imo).

Also of note:

I am a one shot night stop. I stop all night actions on the night I bold a particular phrase. All investigative roles can verify because they get a result with my flavor name. It starts with a V.

I redirect all actions to me, including kills. No oneshots (killing investigative or otherwise would be used). Cops get my flavor name.
