Let me ask you something Satan, When you claimed, why did you first claim "neither roleblocker nor goon"?

There are so many little things I'm finding now while going through ISOs (again). Ran did a lot of conversing with fuzzy before he replaced out. There was also a time when Ran voted fuzzy but dropped that read/vote soon after. Unfortunately, I've missed my chance to ask him anything about it.

@Klick: why the apathy towards this game? I notice you have been more active in others. Have you finished reading this game and done ISOs with both Satan and I with fuzzy?

@Satan: How old are you, what do you do for a living IRL? What is your native language? I'm trying to get into your head here. There is a lot of content but little transparency. I'm having a hard time figuring you out. There seemed to be some genuine confusion and you have come under a lot of fire this game for it. That's basically what I'm going to grill you on until I'm able to get a solid read off you. If you are indeed town, I need you to be active enough to figure you out.

Anyway, I don't get why would you give us a "fair chance". Maybe I understimated your skills and you can look like a complete townie while being scum...but after all the effort you would give up like this? Are you that dissapointed?

When I claimed, I think I was asked to "reveal my scum role" because I was found scummy. But I didn't really knew what a claim meant. Just got confused.

I want to apologise to the mod and players for flaking on the game, my work banned the website and university study ate up my spare/home time and when I'd passed mid-term exam period I'd been replaced.

I'll refrain from commenting on anything else.

I read this game intently. Sad to see Regfan replacing out because I was hoping to replace in. I figured the scum was Fuzzy sometime during day 2. I wasn't really sure whether Satan's slip was a real slip or not.

There wasn't any reason to believe that it "Wasn't" a slip though? He showed clear competency and ability to logically conclude things so him going from "X is scum when people thought X was scum to" "X, I always thought you were town, just pushed you for reactions" when people no longer thought X was scum is a massive massive scum slip (There's no town motivation behind putting a town read/null read of yours to L-1 when you have scum reads which is what he was claiming to have done), the fact that "some people" attempted to argue against that making him mafia bugged me to no end because as far as I'm concerned his actions there was a scum claim and should have been hung on the spot.

I agree and it turns out you were right. I think what threw off most people (and me to some extent) was that "slips" rarely actually happen. Most times what people call a "scumslip" isn't one really. I think that's what made people argue against him being mafia (not knowing real "scumslips" from useless ones). In this case though, it looks to be a real one. I did feel that you pretty much had the game in the bag. If 2Pac claimed, it would probably have been a perfect win.

So finally done! Dragged on a bit the last two days which was unfortunate, but had good activity from the start of the game, it was only really both lylo's where the game stalled, which was unfortunate. Thanks especially to all who replaced in (or offered to).

Sorry for all the little delays, also would have liked to have done a few more VCs than I did. Must also apologise for the prod durations. The rules about deadline in the rule set were made for 3-week game, not 2-weeks which just did not work (4.5days*3= 13.5/14days), so that was my fault, should have changed that before the game started. Standard 14-day games on this site its 48hrs til prod and 24hrs to respond.

As for the result, well done to the mafia team, being an all-newbie team isn't always easy (eg, making the Peabody kill) and there were many close calls, especially day 1 but you pulled it off, which is the main thing.

As it's a Newbie, will post some commentary, only basic thoughts, don't read too much into it!

2Pac - knew how to play the game, had some decent cases too. The slang talk wouldn't have helped though - and it didn't at the end of the day. Role-play does seem to get some slack on site, so it's not strictly meta but if I was in game I'd have the same opinion as Nominull.

Skelda - I don't think you played too badly, solid performance. Town quick-hammering town is always hard and I'm not quite sure how you would avoid the wagon being built up to begin with.

Ranawey/Klick - Could see you learning the game as you went along until flaked, which was good, perhaps a few more cases needed. Klick was clearly busy but thanks for replacing in.

TheFuzzylogic99 - You played a solid scum game I thought, definitely did well to present yourself as town early on and only the fakeclaim stuffing you up in the end, but you may have been lynched anyway. If you're going to fake-claim in lylo, do so at start of day. If I had to nitpick on overall play, the avoidance of talking to Satan and then defending him early on Day 1 could have landed you in hot water if he had been lynch but you made it to lylo so well done.

SatanHellYeah - Every time I thought you were going to die you ended up surviving! Not the best scum game I thought but you survived and won in lylo, something I've never done, so what do I know! You took advantage of the underrating of your ability, kept up the persona and it worked well. Won't happen again of course especially not in the non-newbie games. Your lack of activity would be riskier as well.

SEs + IC - don't really need to say much here, you know how to play! Thanks to those that replaced in, Regfan was playing pretty well but the flaking ended up hurting the activity thus the town, Peabody's hammer certainly didn't help either. There was a reason why Mr_Ree was being kept alive so long. Perhaps re-consider 548 in future games?

F-16, yeah, it's true that "Scumslips" are rare (I've probably seen less than 10 true scum slips in my experience on the site) and people throw the term around a lot incorrectly but I think people should take serious notice to at least go and reread the situation and context of the accused scumslip rather than ruling it out as someone using hyperbole. If people would have done so they'd have reached the same conclusion I did in Post 365 and honestly, those three quotes alone should have been a lynch.

And yeah, I'll echo what SD is saying in congrats to the scum team on making the right night kill choices, sure there were times where you were in trouble and should have lost but at the end of the day you made the best of a bad situation.

I cannot believe Satan managed that. I thought for sure he would be voted out in lylo. Not exactly sure what I think of this. Well, good game scum I guess. Was really surprised that you won though. I think I would like more insight into what was going on with Ree that made him vote Klick.

Yeah, the lesson here I think is when someone claims in LYLO you need to spend 30 seconds evaluating their claim rather than just believing them and dropping off the internet.

For what it's worth I would have lynched Satan though.

1) Nom would of prob been the best NK ...SHY thought Nom was a pointless kill and so I went along with him. I think I needed to think it out more.
2) I figured that I was dead anyways so the claim was just throwing against the wall hoping it would stick. Should of won an award if i got away with it.
3) Lynching me/ not lynching me was a gambit. If he didnt lynch me than if Klick hammered me SHY would of been busted. Than again there was always a chance Klick would of not made the deadline/ There no hard feelings. It was a hard choice

For all the suspicion and near lynching it funny how far I got. Either lucky or Iam a better player than I thought.


The only real negative is the large amount of subs and inactivity. Kind of put a bummer on the game. Still was great playing with everyone/
