It means the broken and stilted english has an explanation other than nervousness from being scum.

This is indeed quite nonsensical as many players on the site do not speak english as their native language. Me included.

Also nervous scum usually just previews their posts and changes them endlessly, rather than that they let their nervousness slip through. Nervousness might be a tell with chat mafia or skype mafia or in real life, but not with forum mafia. Except with newb scum of course.

Overly editing posts tends to make them more stilted and broken.

So I checked some of her town games where she was not hydraing (Touhou UPick and Fire Emblem) and I don't see any significant difference.

I don't have a problem against fluff per se, and he's trying, which is a good thing, but damn if I don't have flashbacks to SafetyDance being absolutely USELESS in ASoIaF even while he was posting, and

because he was posting. He's getting in the way of natural interactions and I want to see what people say by themselves without being pointlessly poked at.
