By sunset the company has made it to one of the old outposts at the edge of the old Wall Maria. Though deserted for so many years, everything is still structurally sound. The Legion officers move into the larger rooms, while the rest of the soldiers hole up in the barracks. After a long day of horseback riding, everybody is sore and eager to catch up on sleep before facing another day filled with horrors.

is hunched over some maps at his desk, back to the door, as one of the officers enters without knocking. He pauses momentarily from what he is doing, but doesn’t turn around until the rest of the soldiers have filed into the room as well. Half the entire roster barely fits in his small cabin of a room. They are rather obviously blocking off the exit.

He rises.

“Good evening, comrades. To what do I owe the pleasure?”

’s eyes remain stone cold, but the corner of his lips betray the smallest hint of a smile.

“With all due respect, sir, cut the crap. We’ve figured out who you’re working for.”

He rolls his eyes.

So much for subtlety.

“Is that really how you address a superior officer? Charming.”

But he does not make any threats against them. He can recognize when he’s been trapped, and does nothing to resist as three men dart forward and clap irons on his wrists.

“As clever as you all are... and I would know, since I trained all of you sad fools... I don’t think you’ve figured out half as much as you think, otherwise it wouldn’t have taken you so long to come after me.”

She rides her horse along the periphery of the woods during her sentry duty. The poor animal has been pushed to its limit with the distance they covered today. A nice, quiet night watch should be the perfect thing to soothe its nerves.

Her keen eyes pick up on a glint of silver at the base of the next tree. She pulls back on the reins, but the startled animal doesn’t stop right away, tossing its head and kicking its hooves. Her gut drops.

Before she can react by getting off the saddle, the spooked animal has activated a wire trap hiding in the grass. Grappling hooks shoot out from trees on every side. One pierces her calf while another grazes her stomach, and she’s roughly hoisted upwards by a thick cable.

Within seconds, she is dangling upside down, ten meters above the forest floor. She tries to swing upwards to grab the metal hook in her leg, but she can’t manage it through the pain. Swinging from side to side isn’t working out either.

Blood rushing to her head, she can make out a handful of 13-meter Titans emerging from the brush and ambling towards her.

Titans that move during the night, now?

Well, that just isn’t fair…

The red scarf around her neck slowly unravels as dizziness washes over her. She doesn’t react, watching as she lets it float to the ground beneath her.

A stray thought enters her head as she stares down at that scarf.

I’m sorry, guys... It doesn’t look like I’ll be able to look after you anymore...

When she looks up, she is face-to-face with an ugly smiling Titan, its grotesque teeth gleaming.

Tammy was laying down some serious textblocks last night in the neighbourhood. This may indicate an intent to bodyguard someone. I assume that's the case.

Her last reads/musings were that kthx is town based on how myko acted. She also said there is possibly one scum in BRO and pasch based on their interactions with Falcon earlier. She began going on a tangent about how Falcon distanced his buddies in NY 160 by putting strangercoug and mastin in his scum list, and then said that one or both of his partners were likely being scumread by him here while he still held the slot.

And apparently muffin is town because he told her to "suck it" and that gave her warm fuzzies. I don't know if that was sarcasm.

The wench didn't voice suspicion of BRO so much as saying she thought one of BRO/Pasch chould be scum because of F16 interactions, but she never went over why she thought this in any depth.

I think BRO's F16 interactions look pretty town. Though I don't understand why he started thinking mastin be town.

Oh and she thought there be scum in mastin's town list because mastin don't like bussing. I be less sure of this because it be very obvious mastin going to get lynched so I not be putting much stock in his final reads.
