The spiritual

successor

to The Walking Dead Mafia, L4D Mafia features a similar, but slightly inverted mechanic of the one that was seen in TWD. Now instead of the zombie horde being a universally random mechanic, it is now semi-controlled by the town, because the town IS the zombie horde trying to exterminate humanity!

Left 4 Dead Mechanic

The town of the game will be playing as the common infected, the uncommon infected, and/or the special infected of the zombie horde in the L4D games, and as a result, they now will as a group control the zombie horde mechanic. During the night, players will be allowed (and encouraged) to submit to me a list of three players they would like to see killed during the night. I then randomly (using random.org) pick one of the three submitted names in the list of every person, and then compile all of the results. At the end of the night, the player with the highest tally is then slain by the zombie horde mechanic, simple as that! This is, of course, separate from the day phase and any other actions the game may or may not contain.

- The game is not bastard in any sort of fashion, there is no lying, tampering, or bastard roles like Cult, Survivor, Jester, etc.

I will have a stricter cap on Hydras in this game. I am limiting it to a maximum of 3 hydras. This cap has however already been hit by the pre-ins.
