this is the game that made me play maplestory for a week because I was fed up with it

Nope, already in my promo's for S3. Maybe it's the difference in attitude's? I tend to have fun with the team, congratulate them if they make a kill or make a good play, and generally try to direct the team if they are capable of taking leads. Also already had 2 invites to duo with people from my former teams. I'm having fun.

S4 is not that impressive though. Not lost a lane yet since being placed there. Even when I get directly countered.

Attitude goes a long way towards making the game more/less fun. I owe a certain Rioter a lot for reminding me of that at GaymerX last year, since that mental recalibration is why I got plat last season. I'm trying to induce it again, but I'm having a hard time :/

When I find myself slumping, I sometimes fuck around in some normals, do some off the wall stuff, and not give any shits if it works or not. That's usually how I rediscover the game and get back into having fun competitively.

I'm not super-impressed with the new Maokai. I definitely think he's in a better place than before since his utility is now better, but he still has a rough time b/c of how overtuned Elise/Lee Sin/etc are early.

Elise just needs to get nerfed into the ground early. If you're a jungler, and you run into her, it's like "welp, time to leave before she takes off 1/2 my health instantly."

Yeah, but the only reason Eve got back was because of the S4 vision changes. Otherwise she'd probably still be forgotten.

Eve is in a good spot post-rework, but I feel like she has a clear gimmick with clear weaknesses.

Eve is fine right now. She's below Lee/Elise/J4 in priority right now, as far as junglers go.

Them aggro junglers: Depending on who you talk to, there are roughly 3-5 competitive junglers in the 'very strong' category who are outshining entire categories of dudes (see tanky jungler buffs). That said, we're balancing our approach here to make sure we don't just hit one so the others become default picks, but this gang has such high early aggression that they're still inhibitive in the game. Chances are high we won't have anything for these in 4.12 as we're still watching how the 4.11 jungle item changes have affected the scene, but we have a strong inkling that these dudes will still be around.

He's more in the style of Lee. You go 21/9 on him, build Lizard, and have insane early pressure.
