all right. let's do this. Maybe I'll get stuck with a champion I have to quickly look up powers to! I'm not good. Watch me not be good. Listen as I awkwardly try to think of things to say (this is the most impressive thing good streamers manage to do I think). I just don't know!

Sorry, but it's the truth. Also, I like that you judge me when you don't know me. I also like that you are a much bigger dick than pretty much anyone on this forum. so please. take your "high ground".
i greatly enjoy the plat+ players offering me advice. They may be missing the point of the stream a little, but I welcome their contributions as much as the next bronze player.
I've served over a hundred games of chatban on my main, and 30-40 on my smurf.
Related: I am mean in league. The only thing I can say in my defense is that I've never posted a tribunal report card that didn't get a bunch of laughs. Funny mean should get a fighting chance over plain old mean imo, but I've gotten plenty of reports for that too: needling people who are losing or bashing my teammates when I'm losing.
I know that it can only hurt my chances of winning to slam my teammates, but it always starts with someone, not even me, saying "hey 0-3 guy on our team who keeps dying the exact same way, could you (way to not get killed) please?" and they invariably tell you to fuck yourself, but I feel like it still has to be said to stop feeding. I'm dumb and don't understand internet people. If nobody tells him how to stop feeding, maybe he will go 0-8. Maybe the only difference is if he goes 0-8 through idiocy or spite, but there's no difference in the end result. I don't know why all these absolute hair-trigger people play this game, but if you say one tiny thing implying fault or blame, they absolutely lose their shit and tank the game. Because now they didn't get crushed and lose it for themselves and their team, now "i troll, lololo" and that somehow validates them inside their warped little minds. Because they're totally not just split-farmers who die 12 times a game and never contribute anything to their wins. They're geniuses held back by shit teammates, and by god, these people deserve to lose so here comes the intentional feed, as opposed to the usual order of a baker's dozen meaningless 1v4 deaths. See also: every single fucking person who does the godyr trick build but somehow manages to learn absolutely nothing from watching hours of a guy who only plays one champ. The build and masteries are right, but all they do is stack flare, die a few times, and then rage like hell when they lose, because as it turns out, there's more to jungling than stacking a flare and dying.
I guess at the root of it I just think league is an incredibly frustrating game. I'm happy and content in my real life but my 'league life' is an unhappy place. I've played team sports my whole life and I can't think of a time I've ever said anything negative to a teammate- that shit will just have you running laps until your legs fall off. I've had some truly shit teammates in my time- linemen who can't block, guys who can't hit a FT but always take contested shots, fumbilitis backs, a goalie who never stopped anything, you name it. He might be the worst guy in the league, but he's YOUR worst guy in the league and he's the best option for your team, so you try to build him up verbally even if you don't mean it, you can't ever bring down your own team. I've also never played a team sport or team game where people are intentionally trying to make you lose so hard though. Even in rec league ball, nobody wants to lose, but even the guys who aren't that competitive would never tank on purpose, tanking just goes against every reason you would ever play a competitive game. I mean, anyone who tried to ruin a game league-style at the Y would instantly catch an elbow, but there's no self-correcting system in league. The feeder is unlikely to get banned unless he flaunts it, because it's too hard to prove he's not just bad, and you can't get reported for bad. The next best thing is to punish the guy being "toxic", but I'd argue the actual toxic guy skates free while the "verbally abusive teammate" takes the hit. I'm mean, but I'd never ruin my own game for spite or any other reason. It just burns my biscuits.
I'd say the intentional feeding increased significantly around season 3. Before then, people were more into making dicks with wards or straight up going afk / leaving. Since rito's cracked down on leavers, people choose to feed intentionally instead.

honest to god, where are these feeders? I've played with lots of people who have done poorly. Really poorly. But I would say very, very few intentionally fed. And judging by the number of times I've been accused of feeding or our opponents have all chatted about their teammate intentionally feeding, I'm not convinced this is a widespread issue unless it's just somehow existing completely apart from my experience. Either that or people are completely mischaracterizing it.
I do think that people do poorly at the start, they start to get frustrated and they start to die more. I imagine ALL of us have been in that situation before. They no longer play with the same edge, they're already behind, they make bad decisions and get caught out. But even going 0-12-1 doesn't mean the guy intentionally fed the other team. I'd be willing to imagine a world where Bronze V has people like that, but I have a very hard time believing it elsewhere on a regular basis.
Think about it this way: if you fed with any regularity. I mean REALLY fed, intentionally and in order to help the other team, where would you be in your MMR? In order to be at the level you are right now, that must mean your actual skill level is significantly greater than that. Because you're taking a certain percentage of winnable games and making them less winnable, thus handicapping you.
I think intentional feeding as a comprehensive problem is a myth that people have told themselves in order to make the game okay. We've ALL had games we haven't done well and probably caused our team to lose. But OTHER people doing that aren't just humans having every-day issues causing them to play poorly or against an opponent who out matches them. They're maliciously trying to cost you the game.
Got a quadra earlier that game and could have secured the penta with one more Shunpo, but I ran out of health before Nunu. Redeemed myself Take 2
Congrats man!
