I've fallen from Silver 1 to Silver 3 over the course of 2 days. I'm now playing with people who have bizarre runes and don't know how to play the game, then rage at others because of their failures.

I just had a lane where I had to ADC with a Leona who didn't buy a support item and never used any abilities in lane until her ult at level 6 (which she missed), and I STILL had the highest cs at the end of laning phase. Of course, the enemy Akali had 5 kills.

Like, I used to always play ranked with people who seemed like mature, well-adjusted people. They'd only rage when someone would throw at Baron.

These games are always over by 5 minutes.

I guess it's because I used to play ranked around 1 AM EST on weekdays? This has been Saturday.

I'm in S3 and I just played against two gold 5s. Our nami hadn't connected until late, and we still won.

Zito and I played against the single most passive Leona/Trist (?) lane possible. I'm pretty sure that Leona used her ult before ever using her E and she literally wouldn't do anything when I moved close to the bush.

That was the most bizarre thing I've seen in a while.

I killed them all, but it put me in a draft normal somehow. Maybe riot does that when you've lost a lot of ranked in a row. I was the only ranked person in the normal draft game.

Also, whenever I drop a division, I get a message saying that I dropped due to inactivity, which I obviously didn't. I guess this always happens?

I feel your pain. I've lost I think 7 of my last 8 ranked games. Dropped to Silver 4.

EDIT: Also, the inactivity message has been a known bug for a while, but apparently it's so far down on Riot's priority list that it's just kind of left there.

i got placed into silver V after going 5 and 5 in placements (i lost my first FOUR games in possibly the most frustrating manner), and then I played a match where one of the people not only had no runes, which at least makes sense because you have to buy them, but only 22 mastery points assigned. Silver II on my drunk alt, Silver V on my regular one. guess i better start drinking more.

Placement matches are basically just flipping a coin.

You can get the people that just got to 30 with no runes and no game knowledge try to rank or you can get the smurfs playing placements to see where they'd land, etc.

It actually turns out that the crazy normalesque game was also ranked. The enemy were just all really bad.
