I don't know yet. I'm waiting for sthar to answer my question and to talk to AP about what he thinks so far. I think you and I (and probably with AP too) have a tendency to clash. I think it's unproductive. I disagree with your reads so far and I think you're jumping the gun big time on MS and especially on Ward. Neither of them have anywhere near enough content to justify that level of a town read, and in fact tell me more that they are likely to be scum. MS ignored my comment, and went straight to OMGUS and discredit, rather than arguing why my comment and vote is wrong. Ward says he's going to go "catch up" and then fucking disappears, after opening his PM and not posting. How much do you want to bet he doesn't show up again until he's near prod?

So, again, I'm going to say, unless you have some other valid reason to believe either of those people are town, I think you are wrong.

TSO - not calling you a bad guy. I just felt like this conversation wasn't going to go anywhere because you weren't giving me an explanation of your townreads (I see that you just did).

If he (MS) had ignored my vote/comment I would have the same reaction. I wanted to see what he had to say about it and how he defended himself. Instead of saying "But see! I'm not spamming and etc etc etc" he goes right to OMGUS/discredit. I don't think that you see what I mean. He COULD have defended himself in a townie way WITHOUT resorting to a discredit, OMGUS vote aside, but he didn't. His first reaction was to vote the person voting him and say, "Well no one should trust you on anything", essentially. Like OMGUS itself isn't a scumtell, imo, but paired with the instant need to discredit me is.

And newbie has nothing to do with anything here. If that was the case then newbies should always live to LYLO. I don't even look at the join date unless I'm trying to figure out why someone doesn't understand what I'm saying. To flat out say Ward is town at this point is a little beyond my comprehension.
