It's nice to see Zed has no counterplay aside from two items.

It's impossible to hit him with any cc because shadows and targeted CC doesn't really exist anymore in this game. Like, he's impossible to stop and so fucking broken. WHY. I HATE ZED SO MUCH. HE'S MORE CANCEROUS THAN FIZZ WILL EVER BE.

One of the big problems with Zed is he scales in such a way that brutaliser and LW are like first and third or second items on him. He has armour pen almost straight away. I dislike zed, because if he doesn't get fed he can just splitpush. And the best counters to him is Taric and taric is just no good. I wish I could play him more but 90% of the time I prefer Leona or Alistar instead. He's just...lame.

Of course, the best thing about SoloQ Zed is that everyone sees him go mid and still plays AD top and Jungle and then you can just itemise against their whole team with a Randuin's or a Thornmail. Basically AD mids.

but those two items tho

Zhonya's is a pretty central part of any AP build and once you get that it pretty much wrecks Zed's ability to kill you in almost any situation (unless you're going 1v1 in which case Zhonyas still wrecks him)

and if you can't get hourglass get QSS, it takes a large chunk out of his burst and wrecks his ability to kill you just as much as hourglass does, even better in some situations
and you're not wasting an item slot b/c QSS is a useful item regardless of whether or not there's a Zed on the enemy team

if you're a top/jungle/support you should be fine with a Zed trying to kill you since he's not killing one of your carries

barring the possibility that you might be squishier than your carries in which case you need to re-think your build

I personally find Zed frustrating to play b/c once 1-2 members on the enemy team gets Zhonyas and the ADC gets GA/QSS you're in for a very rough time

so just get those two items and punch him in the face

Broke my 11-loss streak with Anivia mid against a Gold 1 Malzahar. Went even and eventually we won the game because our botlane was better. Fucking finally
