I'm not enamored with DGB, mind. But that post is arguing she's scum out of fucking dumb setup speculation. Which is dumb and almost seems straw graspy and could either be used to do one of the following: a) bus a buddy without hard bussing them, or b) line up a lynch hoping someone naive will fucking bite at your setup speculation.

Why does Jingle being town necessitate him being correct? How does that follow logically?

Because his role. Also sheeping is good in general.

Ghostlin seems legit, why?

What part of bulletproof town makes me a good prospect for sheeping?

BlueBloodedToffee wrote:@Pine - his role. Outside of faking his post restriction, how exactly has he deceived and manipulated town?

Also, you're right. There is going to be at least one all-town neighbourhood. I highly doubt that it is a 3-man neighbourhood though.

@ABR - your comment about Pine's meta-read on you was terrible.

This conversation is dumb.

There are five neighborhoods. Assuming no multiball (No kill last night = likely one scum faction.) and normal scum ratios (10:3), there are at least 2 all town neighborhoods. I would be 0% surprised to see a 3 person neighborhood with two scum. I would be fairly surprised, but it's still possible, to see an all scum neighborhood.

At least for now, neighborhood spec is more trouble than it's worth, focus on actual scumhunting.

Why would I vote Sorc because I think Jingle is town?

What? In what universe is Jingle's behavior Townish? He has repeatedly deceived and manipulated Town

I have deceived town exactly once, with a clear motive, and I've already explained it. I fakeclaimed in a PT, but I have strong doubts about that being deceiving town and it also had a clear motive. Lynching me today is a terrible move for town.

FFS. Do you have the ability to comment on anything else going on?

Hi Ghostlin.

It's not like I am basing reads purely on neighbourhood spec. Sure, the neighbourhood mechanic is having a slight influence on my reads, but it's not the foundation for how I'm getting reads and developing them.

I am scum-reading DGB independent of the neighbourhood mechanic. The neighbourhood just adds that little bit extra to the possibility of DGB!Scum.

While I abhor his kind of attitude in these games (honestly, if you get that worked up at a game on a message board, maybe a new hobby is right for you?) I also generally find it hard to fake. "Righteous indignance" is hard to generate for extended periods of time.

Rampant voting is not how I play. It may work for ABR or DGB but it's not my thing.

pieguy's been on vacation this entire time and I've been having trouble getting my foot back in the game. I'll get reads out hopefully tomorrow, but MM flipping town and Pine doing things that make my read on him falter is giving me a lot of pause every time I try to make sense of what's going on.

OK, you're not even analyzing. Better? You have an opinion that I'm not the biggest scum that ever scummed; do you have any other options that might help us out in this damn deadlock?

Even with 'Everyone is scum', there's gotta be matter of degrees of shit.
