The only difference between sthar's list and your list in Post 261 is that sthar shunted the "easy" players into town/scum, whereas you called out a different selection of people."This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." In re Davis, 557 U.S. 952, 955 (2009) (Scalia, J., dissenting).- Green Crayons

Your reaction to my assessment?"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." whether or not you knew it at the time, you were right about sthar before, just not for the right reasons. you can rectify this situation by voting him.
Can you explain your thought process here a little more? Is it mainly about the set-up spec?

BB's plan isn't worth dropping a lynch. We guarantee that scum won't use their PGO, but they similarly won't if we pair or circle and we still get to lynch. We can't do it twice because then we might lose, and two free investigations is the only reason it's worth considering.
I agree with just about everything antihero said up until he broke out the crazy-chalkboard where 1+1=5. He's going to get paranoid about that being buddying at some point,so I should evolve my reads subtly so he doesn't freak.But I can't be bothered with coddling right now.
town: {lane, anti, BB}
idgaf: {ika, parasol, canyons, Z}
scum: {newbie, YGS}
The bolded seems really self-aware of how the reads are perceived. This is then undermined by the next sentence - I don't like the phrasing here at all, seems really fake.
Also, as my other-head said: can we stop being the convenient scum-read without any clear explanations? It's kinda dull.
Not gonna support a Newbie lynch today.

Right. He put the "easy" players into spots that matches the general consensus of the thread. He completely shunned the "problematic" players, who have also had a good amount of discussion surrounding them. I find it hard to believe that he read the thread and then made up his mind that quickly without havingsomethingto comment on about certain players.
If that doesn't send off some red flags, then I don't know what to say...- sthar8

@ygs, can you not be so damn concerned about people's reads on you and focus on scum hunting if you're town? You're focused way too much on that. I don't even know how many times you've asked people to explain their reads on you. Frankly it concerns me enough to put you back into my scum pile. Do your part and fiND scum. You don't even have votes on you and you can't stop focusing on how you're peoples scum read. I mean I can see if you had 3 or 4 votes yeah, be a little defensive, but this is weird as shit without a single vote- Newbie

@YGS:self awareness is alignment indicative?"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." Ha nope. Confirmation bias is the natural tendency to interpret evidence in a way that supports previously held beliefs. Accusing antihero of confirmation biasing in his read on you assumes that hebelievesyou are scum, rather thanknowingyour alignment, like if he were scum.
So either:
A. You're assuming antihero is town for some reason, despite never having expressed an opinion on his slot before
or
B. You misused the term and are accusing antihero of some other fault in service of creating a narrative to paint you as scummy
So which is it?
↑ Newbie wrote:↑ Green Crayons wrote:↑ Newbie wrote:↑ Green Crayons wrote:Because it conforms to general thread sentiment?
No, because it's pretty lazy.
Explain the difference.
And when you said it was completely horrible, did you mean alignment indicative horrible?
It's pretty alignment indicative horrible. I don't see how I come off as going after easy targets when he basically puts the two people who are already in the hot spot in his scum pile and the three people who are pretty much agreed upon as town by most in his town pile while not even having anything to at least say about Persivul or you.
Whoa whoa whoa. You wanna talk about creating a narrative that's unsupported by facts, here's the textbook example. I mentioned these reads way back in 353, when neither you nor YGS had any votes. These reads became widespread in the threadafterI expressed that I held them, as a result of discussionthat referenced me holding them. So I'm lazy and scummy for agreeing with... my own reads? This is that special, stinking sticky bullshit that gets into the treads of your boots, and you can either spend an hour scraping it out with a twig or something and never quite get it all, or use a hose and have to go barefoot while your boots dry. Like, the most annoying, terrible bullshit.
@anti and BB- how do you feel about dividing off into pairs for targeting? I think the nonrandom choice as compared to circle targeting offers an advantage in that we can create pairs for a town information advantage. I'd like to pair the three scummiest players outside the nightkill, then proceed upward in twos until the two towniest players are paired.- sthar8
