He's also kind of WIFOM y everywhere. Few stances, although I did kinda like the stance he did take. I want to drag this day out before lynching him.
This scumread is awful. You keep treating random as this hyper-competent player who is only incorrect about the game mechanics because he's lying scum. That's completely wrong. Random being wrong about the game mechanics doesn't indicate random-scum. Similarly, he doesn't deliberately spread WIFOM. He just does it because that's the level he's at as a player.
Random could still be scum, but the reasons you're listing have nothing to do with his alignment.
↑ Extrapolated Eagle wrote:Tso is scum because he somehow hasn't noticed my question about whether or not him having bad reads makes him scum based on a self meta even though I've brought it up multiple times.
Maybe you should try reading the game.
Even if I hadn't answered it, do you really think that this is how you catch scum? That if I don't answer a question where the answer is easily available to everyone, I'm scum? Is this really how you scumread people? I would like to think that catching me as scum is slightly more difficult than that.
Um. My success rate this game in lynches I've involved myself in (so all of them) is 1/3. Which, by my standards, sucks. However, your success rate in lynches is ...also 1/3. Furthermore, you weren't on the important lynch, which was the scum one. You actually spent the entire day doing your best to derail the Klingon wagon, whether that meant scumreading Elyse, Spifflop or Alchemist. On d3, you happily voted Alchemist alongside me. Why does this make me scum, but somehow not you?
What's the point you're trying to make here? Because it seems like you're trying to pin the two mislynches solely on me, while both disregarding my part in the d1 lynch, and your part in it. Case in point - Titus and I have had exactly identical stances the entire game (sought Klingon's blood with a vengeance, pushed Dapper and Alchemist hard afterwards). The only difference is that she is conftown, while I am sadly not.
If you're trying to paint me as scum using this approach, it's going to be a long and painful road that ends with everyone seeing just how effort you put into getting Klingon off the hook d1.
The wagons were quick because they had so much support. I personally did not hammer any wagon. I don't understand what your point is here - my charisma helped the wagons grow quickly, so they were hammered quickly, so I'm scum? This seems like a completely irrelevant point.
That's completely true. I think at least one of the lurkers is scum, and I'm trying to figure out which one it is. The way you disdainfully talk about me scumhunting among lurkers tends to make it seem like you're sure that there's no scum among them. If you're town, this is truly breathtaking naivete - if you're scum, you do know, so carry on, I guess.
↑ Extrapolated Eagle wrote:and keeps talking about guessing between one of three but also mentions that if his guess is wrong town can't afford to do it twice.
We've been through this before, my dear. As explained
here and
here, that was actually just to see which one of the lurkers was least likely to be scum with you, since I had began to scumread you before that.
I do love the way you keep using the word "guess", which implies that I'm randomly selecting one and don't really care if it's right or wrong. It's not like I've deliberated on this issue over and over again, asking multiple lurkers to contribute, their thoughts on the other lurkers, etc. etc. No, none of that ever happened at all.
Well, yes. When you mislynch, that usually means you've wasted a town lynch. That's generally how Mafia works.
This is... wow. I mean, I understand that the purpose of many of these accusations is simply to slander my name, but I just find it remarkable that you could actually conceive of posting this, given my play this game.
Nobody in this game right now is looking for scum more than I am. Despite being conftown, Titus's activity levels have dropped off dramatically. I'm not only busy attempting to solve the game, I'm also forced to constantly respond to the constant lies you spout, lest any of our lovely villagers actually happen to buy them.
I don't really know what to say when someone accuses me of not scumhunting in a game like this, other than to ask them how their eyesight is.
Again, I am almost dumbstruck at how you could possibly make that accusation, since I've been so incredibly blatant in re-analysing my reads. I have literally devoted post after post after post during d4 to this specific subject. I've been significantly less brash about my reads, because I was still in the process of re-thinking them. If you even scrolled through my ISO cursorily, you would find this to be the case.
Some links, since I don't think I can actually put in words how stupid a point this is;
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here and
here.
That's not even them all. It's not even close to them all. Those links are just there to illustrate how moronic this accusation is.
Given that I can count at least three posts about Errant in my recent ISO, I'm not even going to bother linking them. I'm just going to point this out as a clear example of you either not reading the game, and move on.
The cognitive dissonance between you saying
"TSO's going to protect Errant with everything he has!" and your post here saying that I'm not defending anyone is pretty impressive, EE. But, that aside - why does this make me scum? I mean, the people you're protecting seem to be lurkers you have no actual read on.
I've never subscribed to the idea of defending people I have no idea about. Nor do I plan to start it in the future. You should probably try to do the same.
↑ Extrapolated Eagle wrote:But I can quote where he's directed people away from wanting to lynch actually scummy players.
Please do, darling. I can't wait to see them. While you go look for them, I'll go look for the dozens of quotes where you attempt to defuse the Klingon wagon. You know, the one that actually flipped scum.
I never thought I'd see the day where continually posting content was a reason for a scumread, but it appears to have arrived.
I will admit, I am regularly guilty of this, at least. What of it?
It's always nice when the person scumreading you actually admits one of their points is irrelevant. It saves you time having to point it out yourself.
↑ Extrapolated Eagle wrote:He has also misrepped and blatantly lied about me on a couple occasions
It's been a while since you've gone down this particular route of attack, but that's only to be expected, what with the
absolute roasting you received from Spider Gwen last time. That would make anyone hesitant about using that line again.
↑ Extrapolated Eagle wrote:and refuses to acknowledge points where he's wrong, he just straight up ignores them.
I've been wrong about Dapper, Alchemist and grapes. I've been very open about getting those reads wrong. I've berated myself for getting those reads wrong. Aside from those, do enlighten me as to all the points where I have been proven wrong. I would certainly love to see them.
↑ Extrapolated Eagle wrote:Tl;dr he wants to waste town Lynch on lurkers and not willing to consider other places.
I've narrowed my scumpool down to five players. Two of them are hardcore lurkers. The rest aren't. Do continue to tell me how I'm "not willing to consider other places", when the majority of my scumpool consists of them.
Exactly what does this mean? That you think he's clever? More to the point, how does "having your wits about you" make you town? You constantly use these null phrases to describe your townreads that don't actually make it any clearer why you're townreading them.
How does this equate to him being town again? His lack of associations is either a sign of him being detached town or detached scum. It doesn't say anything about his alignment.
↑ Extrapolated Eagle wrote:And random because I can see where hea coming from and I've agreed with him a lot this game.
It must be wonderful to be able to townread your scumreads so quickly, particularly as there was no sign of a townread on them only posts ago. It's almost as if you've made up all your reads, so you're able to conveniently shift them to suit yourself at a moment's notice.
