Last time I was a tree stump, I helped town roll the entire scum team. I got sidetracked a couple times but shouting for their blood as an indestructible God of death was pretty fun

why was that endgame? it was 4 town left, 3 scum left. shouldn't that be lylo?

It shouldn't have been.

if town lynches the lovers, night goes to 3:2 with town having no way to prevent the kill

If they lynch any other scum, night goes to 4:2 which becomes 3:2 the next day. Another non lover lynch makes it 3:1 going to night. Another town dies, 2:1. The town lover lynches scum buddy two votes to one, leaving one town as sole survivor.

...I completely overlooked the scenario of lovers being lynched in 3p lylo. I had calculated two scenarios of them being lynched 1) first or 2) not first, both of which ended with a town loss after EP died too and then the nightkill happened - obviously by lynching ranger last a nightkill would not occur. There was still a decent chance of this happening.
